Spanning two and a half months of rigorously detailed sexual shenanigans and high-octane havoc, Verde’s Doohickey 2.0 is a grand, bizarre, and overly ambitious end to The Novus Logs.

Notes
This novel is part of The Saga of Dawn and Dusk series created by Natalie Neumann and is a direct sequel to Verde’s Doohickey, The Malice of Abigale Quinlan, and The Dominance of Abigale Quinlan. It is recommended to read these three novels in order to better understand the characters and concepts featured in Verde’s Doohickey 2.0.
Due to the sheer variety and volume of body swaps in this novel, a custom naming convention is used to describe characters based on which body they are in. Characters are primarily referred to by who they are— by their mind— followed by the name of the original owner of their current body in parenthesis. For example, Jade in Maxxie’s body is referred to as Jade(Maxxie), while Maxxie in Jade’s body is referred to as Maxxie(Jade). This mind(body) format is used whenever someone is in the body of another named character, but not when characters are in their original bodies. This is a non-diegetic feature of this novel meant to help readers immediately identify which character is in which body.
All dialogue in [italics and brackets] is being spoken in a language other than English. This includes French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and Ukrainian. The non-English language being used is explained via narration or dialogue. Despite this systematic approach, certain phrases and easy to translate terms will be presented in their original language.
