0 Mari freak on a leash mosnter devil demon destyer bad omen death to all who oppose me welcome to the abyss of dieBecause I’m a complete idiot, I keep on thinking about the design documentation for a game idea that I’ve had for a couple of months. A sandbox game with destructible… everything, where you play as a schizophrenic shapeshifting demigod who switches between four core personality types depending on how the player wishes to have them act. What do you do? Absorb people, disguise yourself as them, cause domestic disputes, and war crimes of just about every caliber as you destroy a futuristic city designed after the late 20th century that automatically rebuilds itself whenever you destroy it, and people respawn. It would cost millions to make, and as such will never exist. A body swap centered visual novel, however, that I can probably do by myself if I hire an artist. Or I could just use Eroge sprites like Student Transfer or Press Switch. Both of which I’ll review come their next build. (more…)

Rundown (8/30-9/05) Metal Gear Anx!ety: Borderline Obsessive Perfectionist

0 SCD Kojima Snake Metal GearMetal Gear Solid V came out this week, and people are unsurprisingly adoring the game. However, even if I weren’t keeping to my word to not buy the game before September 1, 2017, as to make my claim that I wouldn’t buy the game for ‘years’, I don’t think I’d be that interested. Quite simply, the base building, open world, and ranking systems all sound like the worst thing you could do with a narrative driven stealth game. Missions? Fine. But ranking and grading systems stir all sorts of bad anxieties inside my butthole. (more…)

0 Watamote The fuck you talking about porn bikes you neet go get shot you idiot why you existSo, I was hoping to start building a new computer soon, but my mother told me that I should put away 60-70% of my money instead of fifty-something, so that brought my funds down by about $600, so it will take a while to build up the additional $750 or so… I’m going to need to deal with my current computer for a while while trying to maximize my frugalness to avoid feeling a level of despair and inferiority, although I totally deserve that for being a disgrace to the glorious name of Autism. At least the state of Illinois is willing to pay for my college education and help me get a real full time adult job in a few years ‘cos my Autism is 100% official now. (more…)

0 Train Panick by chibiibiruSo, the reason why I did not put out a review of D4 this week is rather simple. I have come to realize that my PC is not as top end as I believed it was when I made it two years ago. I have been saving up some spending money, and am near my goal of… seeing as how I need to get a new monitor, $1,700. I mean, it can run D4 no problem, but its framerate is inconsistent and I refuse to tolerate that. Instead, I made the terrible decision to play Borderlands 2, which I am only going to go through so I can, without a doubt, call it wet hot street trash. Also, I should be reviewing Punch Line this week, so, yeah, look forward to that, I guess. (more…)

Vain
You can easily decipher this title, right?

Okay, so, I am working full time this summer, for those who do not know, or just stumbled onto this post, and that means I cannot spend all day in E3 mode. It makes my nights very hectic, as I try to pick up the piece right after getting home, but I went through Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony’s press conferences, amounting to over five hours of footage, while writing up some quick thoughts on the opinions on the video games, as I have been doing since 2012. Without further ado, I’ll just get right to it. (more…)

0 DR Welcome to Despair dude you will be sad and upset forever pain and agonyYes, I am sorry that I did not get up my South Park: The Stick of Truth review last week, it’s currently halfway done, and will go up late this week. JoJo will not be reviewed until the week after, as I find it very hard to watch and properly criticize as it is like listening to a deaf person give a speech, a well written speech, but one that is pronounced so bizarrely that I honestly feel a bit bad listening to it. 0 BTM Buttocks…Is this Quinnspiracy and Hashtag GamerGate thing still going on? Cripes, I would hate to be alive during a war that had any relevance to most of the world, I would be tired of the bloody concept after a single season. I understand it is a bad thing, but the internet is great for developing an attention span of a rat, so it is surprising that this issue was not dropped so everybody can start eating the poophole of Smash Brothers. Fuck E3

It is rather pointless for a little slice of nowhere blog with only a small number of views to do a summarization of the E3 press events, especially when they were not watching them live due to real life events, such as work. But I got home to catch the latter two, and catch up with the former before Nintendo did their event and managed to get everything done before Tuesday’s end… well after everybody and their brother did their own version of this, and often far better than my assorted ramblings that are made all the dumber by the insertion of anime screencaps. It’s Nigmabox’s third annual Super E3 Rundown!

VO Check out my butt in the bathWell, it’s that time of year again, where the sun rises high and slowly creeps over to the other side of the country where magic truly does exist in the form of a corporate PR event that will be jam packed with ice cream pandas and lobster men who will undoubtedly be shot by a bunch of hired apathetic day workers… Sorry, I hit my head again and those words came out. Point it, it is Pre-E3, or Preeee! as one may call it if they started a blog post about video game news by insinuating the sun creates lobster men. And as expected, everybody’s gushing to get their big thing in every lady’s face before the oversaturated extravaganza hits when I’m at work… guess I better get the skeleton ready for me to pin flesh onto it! Godra7Lately I’ve been playing through RPG Maker made Pokemon games, and have made spreadsheet separating nearly every Pokemon into two versions. I have no justification, but that’s my reason if the Metro LL review is late in the week, because I was too busy playing Pokemon Godra. Now I’m suppose to finish this, but I just got off of filming a middle school play where I had to stand on concrete for 2.5 hours.

pussy fart…Look, I just took a bear sized poo and spent my entire day around a bunch of talkative women who I call family for the second day in a row. I am trying to juggle with writing review, editing my novel, and just picked a subject for my research paper after trying to find one all morning. I’m working tomorrow morning, have a Borderlands 2 Partway Review going up on Tuesday, and am murdering my backlog to the point I only have seven games I want to play on Steam, but haven’t played them elsewhere.
