On March 1, 2022, I posted Announcement (3/1/2022) Plans for the Nigma Box 10th Anniversary, where I set four goals for myself to accomplish in time for Nigma Box’s tenth anniversary on May 25, 2022.
- 1.) Redesign Nigma Box to be more modern and make better use of WordPress’s current features.
I did this throughout March and April, making Nigma Box into a better-looking and more modern website.
- 2.) Release my novels and TSF Series on Amazon to increase the distribution of my work.
I did this for Verde’s Doohickey, The Malice of Abigale Quinlan, Psycho Bullet Festival: The Odyssey of Abigale Quinlan, The Saga of Vincent Dawn, Psycho Shatter 1985: Black Vice Re;Birth, and Psycho Bullet Festival 2222. All of which you can purchase for $2.99 USD if you are so inclined. However, I did not release TSF Series on Amazon, as I REFUSE to charge the ‘soft-minimum’ of $3 for anything shorter than a novel. This means that the only way I can comfortably release TSF Series is as novel-length compilation volumes of multiple installments. Unfortunately, due to my current plans for TSF Series, I could not come up with a way to comfortably bundle entries into ‘volumes’ based on what I have not yet written. Meaning that TSF Series remains a Nigma Box exclusive.
- 3.) Write a ~10,000 word story that I have been thinking about for the better part of two years, tentatively named Weiss Vice: Glory Unto Genocide.
- 4.) Write Natalie Rambles About TSF.
That has been done for nearly two weeks and shall go live on May 25th.
These were all my initial objectives. However, in Rundown (5/08-5/14) Return of the Trash, I mentioned that I was going to restore privated and deleted content on Nigma Box, which I did about a week ago, but I forgot to publicly announce that… so I’m going it now! Over 300 posts from 2012 to 2016 have been restored on Nigma Box and can be accessed via the archive menu at the bottom of the site, or by digging through the Game Reviews, Rundowns, and Archived categories.
I did not do this because I believe these posts were good— they aren’t— but for sentimental reasons. I felt that it was only right to restore (most) of the things I wrote during the early days of Nigma Box if I was going to celebrate its tenth anniversary. This mostly includes bad game reviews, about 50 anime reviews, and bad once-topical news pieces.
However, it also includes my first ten novellas: Intertoids, Nari’s Log, Raiyne’s Whimsy, My Life As Abigale Quinlan, Punky’s Post-Apocalyptic Adventure, Terrance & Urabe’s Alien Assassination Adventure, Return of Mighty Terra: 2052 – The DNApocalypse, Psycho Shatter (95YcH0_Sh4πeR), A Vile Doohickey, and Maple Loves Senpai. NONE OF WHICH ARE WORTH READING!!! But if you really want to, you can.
