Gather your things, ready your streams, call off of work assuming you can, make a bunch of snacks, and get foked my sweet little chickpeas! Because it is that marvelous time of the year where all the video games happen at once, meaning that nobody who likes video games is actually playing video games, and they are instead yucking it up on their internets, wallowing in the succulent juices of hype that encapsulate the industry many times in a given year, but never quite this intensely or fervorously! Or in other words, E3 is starting in a few hours, so I probably should go through the news that came in the past week or so. But not the many leaks, since that’d just be redundant, yo!

Rundown (1/13-1/19) Fetishes Are the Sexuality of the Next Generation

Maybe this is because I delved into dark niches of the internet back during my formative years, but I often think about the sheer variety and volume of hyper-specific and obscure fetishes a person can have. Not just vanilla stuff like feet, BBWs, certain ethnicities, or unique sexual positions though. I’m talking about stuff like transforming into cactuses, fart vore, vaginafication, and milking women like cows. I am under the impression that a growing number of people are developing a fetish for the more weirder stuff as time goes on, either due to exposure at an impressionable point in their life, or a thirst for a new kind of sexy. As fetish culture only grows in size, I think it will go to become as prominent as sexuality by the time the next generation starts taking over popular culture.

Rundown (10/22-10/28) A New and Less Sexual Era

So, the biggest story from the past week is probably how popular gaming forum NeoGaf went offline for the weekend after the owner of the website got himself in some major trouble. The kind involving massive sexual harassment and what, from what I heard, basically amounts to rape. I regularly visited the forum, mostly just to peruse the news that my usual sites miss out on and pick up on things that many outlets would not report on. It was a very good place for information, but I and many others decided to jump ship from this site because, yeah, no, you cannot really wash away the toxicity that comes with that kind of association. So instead I and a bunch of other people are now getting news from a successor called Reset Era. Heh. Cute. (more…)

Rundown (10/15-10/21) A Master No More!

Over the past few weeks, there has been a distribution going on for the new legendary Pokemon, Marshadow, which was distributed at GameStop in the United States. Unfortunately, I missed my chance to visit one to get the mode needed to get the new Pokemon and preserve my complete Pokedex. Why is that the case? Well, I am not very mobile on my own (I cannot drive) and the task of asking my mother if I could stop by one of these stores was a bit too much for me, what with my social anxiety and such. I downplay it a lot, but my social anxiety and poor social skills makes it genuinely hard to do even basic tasks. I feel awkward so much as saying hello to someone unless they greet me first. Rundown (6/12) E3 2016: Boiling Points of Many Emotions

CookingWith a slew of leaks and early reveals out of the way, E3 has finally begun. By which I mean that EA is holding an event outside of E3 around the same time. The ever expanding Bethesda is getting early coverage by going one day before the press conferences traditionally begin. While Kadokawa games, a growing publisher that isn’t even having a proper press conference, just a private media briefing… Whatever, that’s good enough for me. (more…)

Rundown (5/1-5/7) Don’t Look Into My Corrupted Mind; You Don’t Wanna

PM crime police evil wrong justice hero corruptLet’s see… how to fill up a loosely related introductory paragraph… Oh, I’m almost done with community college before I move onto a real university, which is going to suck since I’ll need to commute into the city, but whatever. In the meantime, my summer is going to be pretty free, aside from the nonsense that will surely follow coming out to my parents; which I probably shouldn’t be talking about on a public blog, but I don’t really care if the mundane details of my life are detailed to other people. They probably should not even care, because aside from my self loathing and stream of thoughts that can only be conjured by a corrupted mind, I’m quite boring. (more…)

Fuck Yo Ass DiggzIt’s funny that some of the best games in one of the best months for this industry in quite some time are not for the heavily hyped Gen8 machines. With the 3DS, Vita, and Wii U all having one spectacular title to swing around like a sixteen inch penis. As if there were any real reason to not adopt boxes that may have a few good games like Resolution-gun, Fort-za 5, and the Bread Rising part three. Not that I will get either until 2016, as the Wii U will remain cheap and Vita will grow an even more keen library as the memory cards finally stop being moronically expensive. Seriously, a 32GB card is more than my 1TB backup hard drive.

Fart ballsOkay, I’m just gonna get the minor stuff out of the way in this intro. Bravely Default will indeed be the updated version when it comes overseas, as well as be a “demo” for the sequel coming in late 2014 if I had an inkling. Xbox One is coming out on November 22nd because it’s the Xbox 360’s anniversary. Dead Rising 3 continues to look more like a game worth playing, though it is here where I realize how much of a sexist asshole I am, as I would only want to play it as a female character. While Xseed is localizing the Legend of Heroes: Trails In The Sky sequel and PS3 redux. Which I’ll probably review sometime next year, as they will receive PC releases to boot. Also EA claimed they were being risky dogs because they’re making Star Wars video games. On with the show!

NR HorseYesh, talk about a gap between updates. Probably should purge out my unedited writing about bee people and my limericks of high school when this happens next week, unless Singularity is short as knickers. But I am still willing to regurgitate overly opinionated game news, so let’s do that, or else the horse will eat you.
