So, I was hoping to start building a new computer soon, but my mother told me that I should put away 60-70% of my money instead of fifty-something, so that brought my funds down by about $600, so it will take a while to build up the additional $750 or so… I’m going to need to deal with my current computer for a while while trying to maximize my frugalness to avoid feeling a level of despair and inferiority, although I totally deserve that for being a disgrace to the glorious name of Autism. At least the state of Illinois is willing to pay for my college education and help me get a real full time adult job in a few years ‘cos my Autism is 100% official now. (more…)

Well, TGS happened and I only really found stuff of interest in Sony’s pre-conference, as Japan is all about those smartphone games, or distractions as most of them are. Yes, yes, I suppose you could say that of all games, but phone games are made for brief distractions that do not leave any sort of impact other than using unsavory physiological manipulation into tricking people that they are having a good time…. how do I transition this into talking about how Aliens: Colonial Marines is still unravelling its story of lies and making Randy Pitchford look more like a scumbag? I spent a while thinking if I should bring up the Dragon’s Crown Kerfuffle, and it seems like an alright opener. If this was done solely to get more media attention to Dragon’s Crown, good job Vanillaware. Now if only they would take it to the true extremes, which would probably just be levitating spheres bigger than watermelons that do most of the battling. Either way I want to buy the game solely for the overly exaggerated and sorta gross in a good way character designs. Just need to get that Vita.
