I really should try to, I don’t know, not spend three weeks going through the later half of an anime series. With all the time I have, getting shafted to that magical hour before I fall asleep is not the best way to retain my full knowledge and convince myself to go through more than just one a night. As a human being, specifically one still within their teenage years, I am a victim to impulse. Even if I am aware that it is a bad idea, my emotions can get the better of me, hence why this blog’s been around for nearly a year. Yesterday, I ranted over the Xbox One, and my initial thoughts about the conference, as my cheese was certainly stinky. However, with a more level head, and after cooling off with some Grand Theft Childhood and Mass Effect comics, I think I can be an adult and talk about the subject. (more…)
Are you ready for the summer? I’m not! Mostly due to how it means I’ll be done with high school, and can’t fart about as much because of internships and college classes. Remember one thing I’ll tell you kids, live free and wild, eating all he gummies, and playing all the video games. Then I guess OD before you go to the real world… Do you remember all the friendship I brought into your life- okay, now to fulfill my obligations.
As I state with half of my reviews for games, most of my stuff is randomly picked by a birdie telling me it is worth however many dollars is slapped on it, and my not very valuable time. I mean, why wouldn’t I pick up a title with a relatively positive reception, poor sales, and an eight dollar price tag. No clue, but it certainly was worth what I paid. Oh, and no Multiplayer will be mentioned because who the blazes would be playing it?
Alright, after a year and a half on my shelf, 80-100 million dollars in development, three years on shelves, and a little over a week to actually play the blasted thing, I’ve gone through another wrapped title. Still with the sticker boasting its 160+ Game of the Year awards to justify its title. Not that I would really expect that after going through the single player campaign. (more…)
Yesh, talk about a gap between updates. Probably should purge out my unedited writing about bee people and my limericks of high school when this happens next week, unless Singularity is short as knickers. But I am still willing to regurgitate overly opinionated game news, so let’s do that, or else the horse will eat you.
What does it say when I don’t really even really want to talk about an anime after completing it? Because my thoughts could probably be summarized as, “A bit inconsistent at points with a rubbish final third with the silliness being something fulfilled by many others.” But to give an answer longer than a tweet, elaboration time!
I spent a while thinking if I should bring up the Dragon’s Crown Kerfuffle, and it seems like an alright opener. If this was done solely to get more media attention to Dragon’s Crown, good job Vanillaware. Now if only they would take it to the true extremes, which would probably just be levitating spheres bigger than watermelons that do most of the battling. Either way I want to buy the game solely for the overly exaggerated and sorta gross in a good way character designs. Just need to get that Vita.

There is nothing quite like digging up a title that you are certain will end up becoming a gem of sorts in the not too distant future, and getting into an awkward middle phase where your thoughts allow for neither full introspection or current awareness. Either way, I picked up Little King’s Story for $13 and feel like talking about an obscure Wii title by the now defunct developer Cing. Oh, and I’m not even going to talk about the remake/reimagining, because of how poorly it appeared to have been handled, and this would become a rant to the very idea of said remake.
