E3 2016 is days away, and PRE3 2016 is in full effect. Reveals were made, trailers dropped, and leaks are still dripping from the sweaty underbelly of the video game industry in anticipation for the hype driven commercialized video game event of the year. I could be jaded and cynical about the whole blasted affair, but I’d gain nothing but smug satisfaction in doing so. So, I am now in the weeds regarding a massive group project I have doubts will be completed on time. I am behind on my next novel, The Malicious Abigale Quinlan after some major retooling occurred. I just turned 21, and am having doubts about truly being transgender despite the fact I have already made strides in changing my voice. I should start working on my new computer within a few weeks. Also, I need to change my sleep schedule so I am in bed by midnight. Growing up is still hard. (more…)

I should probably bring up how Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 is quite the turd of a game from what I can tell. With a Metacritic of 36 on the PS4 and a… 48 on XBO? I thought that the XBO version wouldn’t work for some people because the game is so terribly made and needs a patch bigger than the game itself to, presumably, even run. Bad framerate, textures, physics, and general game feel all make it a title that will likely just be an ash can project made to renew a license that Activision probably only spent a few million making and shat out the door six months too early… Not that I really care about the series though, I just like the soundtracks of the first four games and that’s it. Metal Gear Solid V came out this week, and people are unsurprisingly adoring the game. However, even if I weren’t keeping to my word to not buy the game before September 1, 2017, as to make my claim that I wouldn’t buy the game for ‘years’, I don’t think I’d be that interested. Quite simply, the base building, open world, and ranking systems all sound like the worst thing you could do with a narrative driven stealth game. Missions? Fine. But ranking and grading systems stir all sorts of bad anxieties inside my butthole. (more…)

And E3 is done… Kinda. Yes, I know the first proper day just happened, but after the press events, my work is mostly done, and 90% of the announcements are out of the way. It’s just impressions from here on out, which is just dandy in my book. So, this week I tried Killer Is Dead, and it made me realize that I simply cannot play Character Action Games that implement a grading system, meaning most of them, as if you get anything beneath the highest score, well, you are just fucking up. But not just playing the game, oh no, you are going against the developer’s intentions and are objectively playing the game wrong, and by extension you are ruining an experience by being too shit to handle a challenge that the title very clearly stats should be no problem for normal people. I honestly don’t know if I hate it more than a lives base system, as that method is a vile outdated archaic disgusting loathsome evil punishment based system that was implemented in order to inspire mastery artificially increase game length. But if you dare waste a resource as precious as life, you probably don’t deserve to have your own, you miserable little sack of maggot infested cum, mixed with urine, STD infested blood, Ebola, and bug shit (more…)

Over the past year, or I guess 11 months is more accurate, I have been working on a novel that I originally was posting here. I deleted those posts, edited them, and added about 130 more pages, amounting to 150-ish that I want to put on the Amazon Kindle Market. Problem is that I do not know my tax information so it may indeed be a while until I properly post it for the dollar I need to charge for it. I mean, it would be $0.37 if I had my way, but no… Also, I don’t have any tax forms so expect it to take a while as I figure this shit out. (more…)
