Hello my lovely readers! Following the completion of Verde’s Doohickey – Session Extra, I decided to go back and re-edit my 2015 novel Verde’s Doohickey for the… 2016 remaster, 2020 re-release… THIRD time! This rush job of an update, done in a mere four days. However, it still corrected several hundred errors (grammar, style, phrasing, sentence length), added two new scenes that were previously only referenced in prior releases, and reformatted Verde’s dialogue.
I also updated the header images to match the art style revisions seen in The Dominance of Abigale Quinlan and fixed a GLARING issue with the cover that I went two years without noticing.
The reason why I did this is because I am releasing Verde’s Doohickey – Session Extra as an ‘update’ to the original Verde’s Doohickey novel. This means that all four chapters of Verde’s Doohickey – Session Extra can be found along with this newly updated version of the Verde’s Doohickey. This includes Natalie.TF, ScribbleHub, and Amazon! I even updated the GoogleDoc and ePub versions!
Why did I release Verde’s Doohickey – Session Extra this way? Because it is basically DLC for a novel. I originally intended to release it as a standalone work, but when factoring in how I would distribute it on other places, combined with how I want to adopt a uniform approach for these ‘continuation short stories,’ this made the most sense to me.
Verde’s Doohickey – Session Extra is part of Verde’s Doohickey, and the same mentality will apply to the other three continuations I previously announced:
- The Malice of Abigale Quinlan – Encounter Unlimited will be considered part of The Malice of Abigale Quinlan when it releases on 1/20/2023
- Psycho Bullet Festival: The Odyssey of Abigale Quinlan – Episode Alternative will be considered part of Psycho Bullet Festival: The Odyssey of Abigale Quinlan when it releases on 4/27/2023
- Psycho Shatter 1985: Black Vice Re;Birth – The Day After will be considered part of Psycho Shatter 1985: Black Vice Re;Birth when it releases on 5/18/2023
This is not a normal or traditional approach, but I think it is the best way to package these things.
