TS Revolution by Shiki Takuto
Woo-wee. I’ve been spoiling you all with my back-to-back-to-back showcases on The Wotch. I produced three parts, with over 200 images, over 49,000 words— just shy of being novel length— all produced in about three weeks. So, for this final TSF Tuesday and final day of the year, I wanted to end things off with an easy showcase and a piece of peak TS fiction. It’s time for TS Revolution!
Chapter 1: Getting an STD in a Public Bathroom!
Things start off by introducing a cast of ‘chara-o’ men. A name for womanizing playboys with good looks whose hobbies include drinking, looking pretty, and having sex with women. They are Mikio, the blonde MC, Tomoya, the one with black hair, Yuuki is the tanned one, and Saku’s the brunette. All are day drinking in public, shit-talking women, and establishing themselves to be categorically shitty dudes.
This carries over in the next scene, where Mikio is getting ditched by his girlfriend and, not even a minute later, he sees a beautiful girl wearing only a hoodie on the side of the road. He flirts with her, and with a devious smirk, she lures him into a public restroom, where he fucks her while she grips onto a urinal. Yeah, this is going to be one of those hentai comics.
Mikio hits it and quits it, heads back after rawdogging her, and as he wakes up the following day, he finds himself groggy, disoriented, and with a fully female form from tip to toe. Hair included, because hair length is determined by the XY or XX chromosome. Obviously!
Before Mikio can come to terms with what just happened, his buddy Tomoya barges in, Mikio starts explaining who he is, while Tomoya thinks he’s just some drunk floozy. Normally, the answer there would be to either just leave or help them out with their hangover, but Tomoya’s of the belief that beer’s the best hangover cure, so they start morning drinking. They drink, they chat, they drink some more, and as their already loose inhibitions go to shit, Tomoya starts getting handsy and begins undressing Mikio, which obviously leads to sex, and a lot of it. As in, 26 pages of sex.
This is excessive, but that’s the point.. TS Revolution is an intentionally overly indulgent display of sex as a spectacle. It is not content with merely displaying sex for the sake of mere titillation. It wants to approach it with a distinct visual language while also pushing the acts to something extreme. While all the standard up close and X-ray shots emblematic to hentai manga are present here, there is also a greater focus on place. On detailing the environments the characters are in, maintaining the angle between panels, and presenting sex as a mobile event.
Mikio and Tomoya start on the couch, head to the bed, keep fucking while grabbing some beers to keep going, head into the tub for a fuck-bath for two panels, resume on the coffee table, and finish up on the bed. Sex is such a fixation, it becomes a mundanity as characters just keep going at it like a pair of smelly jackalopes. It is absurd that they can go at it for so long without tiring or getting bored of it. But it never feels like it is beyond reality, beyond belief, in how sex is depicted. Which doubly works well considering the protagonists, who have probably all had sex hundreds of times, and don’t view it as a big deal. These aren’t virgin teens going at it for the first time, as is often the case. These are professional fuckboys!
…As for what actually happens during this sex scene, it follows the standard sense of escalation. Tomoya starts by showing Mikio his juicy new pussy by making him orgasm— though with how much he squirts, it looks more like pee. Shock and resistance follow before Mikio is thrust into a paizuri, and after busting once, Tomoya is emboldened enough to stick it into Mikio’s vagina. He resists, Tomoya doesn’t listen, because he just views this as fucking around with his bro. Finishing puts a damper on Mikio’s mood, but rather than reflect on what just happened and what he lost, Tomoya tells him not to worry and just drink his problems away with 10% alcohol beer.
Mikio’s ‘oh fuck it’ attitude leads the two of them to have sex for what I think is meant to be 12 hours straight, which says a lot about both of their stamina. They just fuck, and fuck, and fuck, like there’s nothing else in the world, before, with their bodies caked in sweat, they fall unconscious. Tomoya is the first to wake up, immediately grabs a beer, like an absolute dumbass, and as he looks into the mirror, he sees that his body has changed. That he went from a tall and strong chara man into a skinny Japanese girl with far less voluminous proportions than his busty blonde buddy. It really begs the question of where those 20 kilograms of meat went…
Judging the first chapter on its own, it’s a pretty standard TSF hentai comic where the transformed subject calls his friend over and they have sex. Its narrative is pretty shallow, Mikio barely questions what happened to him, when he probably should panic. And while the ending twist is cute, it’s been done more than a few times. I know I saw it in one of the offshoots of TSF Monogatari— there’s a comic that would make for an ‘interesting’ showcase— and it happened twice in Nyotaika Pandemic by Akatsuki Katsuie.
Instead, I would say its biggest competence lies with its artwork. Shiki Takuto was exceptionally deliberate with the framing and positioning of the panels in this chapter— with the entire series overall— and delivered a great level of visual variety and personality.
However, we are just getting started. TS Revolution might start plain, but as time goes on and its transformations compound, shit gets wild!
Chapter 2: There Ain’t Nothing Like Fucking Yo Bros In Shibuya Crossing!
After the events of the last chapter, the freshly transformed Mikio and Tomoya called their bros Yuuki and Saku over to Denny’s Donky’s the following night to tell them what happened. Neither really really buys it until Mikoto and Tomoya start spilling secrets and showing off their tits. If these guys were smart, they would view this as a call to action, but their whole lives are devoted to screwing around and getting into trouble. …And now that half of them have bombshell bodies, they can get into loads more trouble!
They get on a train with late night commuters and Saku cannot keep his dick in his pants, so he starts fucking Mikio while people film this on their phone. Mikio and Tomoya get dressed up in something that skirts the legal limit of what clothes can be, exposing everything, and are presented across the red-light district like they’re the hottest shit. Because they are. And they hit up a karaoke center to do what you do in a karaoke center. Fuck! But this is TS Revolution, so even when it is just a sex scene, it goes all out with it.
The ‘girls’ get topless, beers get chugged, and right after Mikio and Tomoya test out their new voices, the dicks start flying out of Yuuki and Saku’s pants. In a cute little attention to detail, there actually is some effort to represent two types of common TS relationship archetypes. Mikio is still more apprehensive about having sex with penis-havers, regularly making threatening comments to Saku, but ultimately relenting because he knows not to be a pain in the ass. Saku is an entitled asshat who thinks it’s hot to be rough with sexual partners and do dumb crap like bring a microphone to Miko’s face while he’s sucking dick. Saku just sees Mikio as another hot blonde he can use to jones his dick till it’s dank, and while Mikio talks an aggressive game, he doesn’t outright say no.
Meanwhile, Tomoya is excited to try “having sex with this pussy” and finds a receptive partner with Yuuki. Yuuki’s taken aback by how eager his bro is to just have sex with him, and lets Tomoya set the pace, enjoying the ride for what it’s worth while Tomoya is delighted by the whole experience. The intensity, the novelty, the ability to lose himself in this new body and see himself as his preferred type of girl.
But as the sex billows and grows, and they keep fooling around, everybody starts getting fully into this, just going at it like there’s no tomorrow. And when they’re done, they head out for some exhibitionist debaucheries. Namely hitting up a conbini to grab beers and beer snacks while Mikio and Tomoya are topless, and fucking while walking through Shibuya Crossing. They become a damn tourist attraction for the locals, people are pulling out their phones to capture this erotic chaos, all while Tomoya screams how he’s a manly man, a chad who isn’t afraid of anything.
Some fun-hating narc then calls the cops on them, leading the four to flee over to a love hotel where they get right back to fucking. Mikio and Tomoya make out before they race to see who can suck dick the fastest. The four get into the extra large hotel bathtub for some paizuri. They start fucking in the hotel lobby until some teenage girl comes in with a middle-aged man, leading Yuuki to ‘wheelbarrow’ Tomoya out of there. There’s four back-to-back two page spreads of them fucking, two more pages of them just having an hours-long marathon sex sesh on the bed. And come the morning, I guess, they wake up to see that the TS virus has spread to the whole quartet.
This should be a big deal for the four, they have all become women and realize that this is effectively a type of rapidly onsetting STD. Mikio offhandedly suggests that they head to the hospital and get treated. …But nah! The boys agree that having sex as a girl is too much fun, so they head out to where they were at the start of the first chapter, drinking beers while four guys ask them out. Specifically, four foreigners. Two White dudes and two Black dudes. Because at this point, the only way these loose Japanese men turned women can get more extreme is if they go gaijin!
While the first chapter was standard, chapter two is where the comic starts getting truly crazy with its sexual debaucheries. The protagonists are bereft of shame or self control, actively do not care about customs or what is appropriate, and are going on a fuckfest through the city with zero hesitation! They are not just oblivious perverted bastards, like the protagonist of Tenbatsu Chara-o ~Onna o Kuimono ni Shita Tsumi de Kurogal Bitch-ka~ by Rurukichi. Which is dope by the way!
These dudes are treating this experience like a power fantasy, thinking they are unstoppable. And for no reason more complicated than it feels good and it’s fun! Like I said before, it’s sex as a spectacle, and as a writer with a penchant for erotic absurdity, I find works like this to be simply inspired.
Oh, but this is just the softcore stuff. You ain’t seen nothing yet! Because next stop, the Chara gang hits the club!
…But first, a minor detour.
Chapter 2 OG: The Dry ‘N’ Raw Original Sesh
Something I noticed when reading the 2022 tankobon release of TS Revolution was that chapter 2 seemed different from how I remembered it. Upon reviewing my files, and looking at the afterword, I figured out why. TS Revolution was originally released in COMIC Mugen Tensei throughout 2020 to 2022 prior to coming out as a single complete work. Normally, the chapter to tankobon process is pretty straightforward, barring a few corrections and some light touch ups for the artwork. For TS Revolution though? It means there are basically two versions of chapter two.
Quite simply, Shiki Takuto was working on this story for years, and he wanted to make some edits after the initial publication, which is cool in my book. It’s not like they’re erasing the old versions. But if I’m going to talk about TS Revolution, I should talk about the differences.
Originally, chapter two began with a sex scene between Mikio and Tomoya right after Tomoya transformed. It specifically focuses on Tomoya’s perspective, on him being overwhelmed by new sensations after Mikio licks his pussy. As this happens, Mikio also gets aroused, leaving him to contemplate what happened, partially for the benefit of new readers just checking in on part two. The pair then decide they should try getting help from their friends, and with a text hitting their phones, they arrange a meeting at Donky’s.
Here, Mikio and Tomoya do not not tell Saku and Yuuki about close secrets to prove their identities, and the guys simply want to fuck ’em until their balls are empty. Mikio and Tomoya also do not show their tits to prove they’re legit, nor do they have sex on the train. Which, for the record, only lasted two pages. Instead, things jump right to when they get their slut dresses.
The karaoke scene was also cut into two pages. In the original, there was a preamble with more drinking, a brief singing competition between the four, and a bet that resulted in Mikio and Tomoya going topless. In the tankobon version, they get topless right from the start and the artwork was edited to reflect this. Though, this abridgement does mean we miss out on some microphone antics, and it replaces one page where Saku nudges Mikio to have sex with him. In the tankobon, there’s the lovely scene where Saku and Mikio have blowjob karaoke. I think this change is funnier, but the original shows Mikio as more hesitant, while the revision makes him seem more eager despite his harsh tongue.
The excellent sex walking scene was only a single panel in the original, instead of two and a half pages in the tankobon, and I think it does a lot to reframe the characters as particularly deranged. Gong topless at a conbini is one thing, but that is something else. Similarly, the love hotel section also sees two new pages. One showing a mirror sex scene, a TSF mainstay for sure, and the hallway scene, again for the deranged points.
I personally think the tankobon version benefits by upping the exhibitionist escapades the group goes on, though there are enough regular changes, and enough cut pages, to warrant a look for those who are invested in the story.
Chapter 3: My First Date Rape – Would Not Recommend – ★☆☆☆☆
Two weeks after their transformation, Mikio, Tomoya, Yuuki, and Saku are at an upscale bar, sitting in the VIP lounge with their boytoys from the end of chapter 2. All living the life of high-class whores. One full of good food, killer booze, touchy feely foreign men, and… new bodily features. Despite not having these bodies for a month, half of them have begun having periods, with Mikio even wearing a pad. Indicating that both this transformation is permanent, and that these guy-girls are definitely going to get pregnant with all the rawdogging they do.
Before they can think too much about this, it’s already time to chug more booze and dance their cares away… Only for Mikio to abruptly fall asleep and wake up on a bed. A bed lit up by a studio light, with a camera before him and a bald Black man with sunglasses looking over him. A guy who doesn’t have a name in the work itself, so I’ll just call him Dave. With his body numb, Mikio realizes he’s about to be rape, and is powerless as Dave begins covering his breasts with… an aphrodisiac enema lotion and lubricant? Yeah, this is something that’s always confused me about this comic, what this goop is.
I don’t know enough about the hottest kink products to know if this is based on a real thing, though I doubt it is. It is presented as a miracle sex drug for humans and horses alike that makes everyone more receptive to sexual activities, and one that they clearly don’t have a short supply of.
Mikio is left helpless as Dave rapes him on camera. Whereas the prior sex scenes were meant to show the joy of exhibitionist party sex, this one is presented in an uneasy light, forcing Mikio to experience the powerlessness that can come with being a woman. Unable to resist as Dave treats him like putty in his hands, fills up his ass with this weird drug lotion, before ramming his dick into his ass while singing about how big it is.
For as wild as the previous sex scenes were, there was at least some cooperation and consent. They were just having a good time! But Mikio is just in pain. Getting fucked so hard as Dave slams his dick into Mikio’s stomach. And just when Dave is done treating Mikio’s asshole like a wet bag of sand, two more Black guys show up, and they’re the same flavor of scum as Dave, keeping this rape train going.
They choke Mikio until he stops crying, fill both his ass and pussy with lotion until it seeps into her womb and lower intestines, and then they double dick him, pushing him to the limit as he is unable to object. It’s a frankly disgusting display, and it only gets worse as they explain the goal of their operation. They find and abduct ‘amateurs’, have them take a drug that causes them to ovulate, and see if they can get them pregnant in order to spread their seed around the globe.
After wrapping up the video, Dave turns on a TV to show that Tomoya, Yuuki, and Saku are all being fucked by three Black men on a stage before a mosh pit of Japanese men. So, at least he’s not the only one getting fucked… or spreading the TS virus.
After, presumably, taking Mikio for another round, Dave and his two friends wake up to find their bodies transformed, just like one would expect. A move that would ruin their careers, but more than that, it means that there’s another three people infected, and in such a sexual domain, it’s only a matter of time before that number increases exponentially.
However, before getting to the hype and chaos of chapter 4, I really need to address what we just saw.
Tangent: Gyaru Takes Three Big Black Cocks #BBC ♠♠♠ At Once
So… Japan is a heavily isolated country, and while they receive plenty of media from around the world, Japanese people’s understanding of how people of other cultures, races, or ethnicities operate tends to be rather narrow. With Asian people, there is a complicated relationship after Japan’s attempt to conquer all of East and Southeast Asia during WWII. Though, relationships have been getting better as that generation of people has died. With White people, there is definitely some resentment toward them for various reasons, but they are also exotified, European cultures are a fairly common subject of fascination. While White America tends to be portrayed more positively, due in no small part to the fact that America basically forged modern Japan’s government and shifted their culture.
Black people though? They barely exist in the country, and most people only know about them through media they intake, which is primarily mainstream American media. This does not give the best impression or understanding of what Black people are like, as they are often presented under a specific racialized aesthetic. Athletic and physically exaggerated, sexually dominant and liberated, criminal in nature, and gaudy in many respects.
If that is the only image of Black people someone sees, then it is easy to extrapolate that as a stereotype and make it more difficult to view them as full people. This is a racism often born from ignorance rather than malice, though there are definitely some exceptions. Especially with more niche works like this by people who make things for internet weirdos.
Jumping to the point, yes, the portrayal of Black men in this TS Revolution is racist. They are exotified, presented as sexual criminals, and have a goal of impregnating Japanese women to spread their seed. They are cruel, controlling, and generally bad people, worse than even the dirtbag protagonists. Admittedly, most of their goals and mannerisms could be transposed over White men or members of a scummy yakuza sect without much needing to be changed, but the creator specifically chose to make them Black people.
Jumping ahead, the creator also chose to bring these characters back for the next chapter, where they are bound, gagged, chained, and put in pillories while Japanese men fuck them, because they are “free play”. Comparable things do happen to the main characters, including being literally whipped as they are brought on stage. But these characters are ultimately able to free themselves, while the Black characters are not.
There is some context to justify these characters, and little about them necessarily relates back to their race— beyond having fat gaijin hogs— so I do not believe there was any deliberate malice on display here. I view it as the creator wanting to take things to an extreme, to show a more depraved and nasty situation after all the fun sex the last two chapters. And these characters were used because they represent something more extreme, more out of this world and unexpected. That being said… this looks bad. I consider it to be a stain on this series, but one that can be sorta brushed aside. Though, I absolutely understand why this display would unsettle or possibly ruin this story for them.
Chapter 4: MEN! MEN! MEN! – The Incels’ Sexual Nirvana
Chapter 4 immediately starts with the dial cranked all the way to twelve, with Mikio, Tomoya, Yuuki, and Saku all bound in fetish gear, mouths gagged, tits out, and arms locked in pillories. All presented before a frothing swarm of hundreds of men— and only men— all clamoring for sexual extremity as the music whoops and the lights gleam. And leading this display is… this dude, the emcee of the event. And before I talk about anything else, I need to talk about them.
They are a person with a tall, muscular physique, broad shoulders, flat chest, dressed in what’s effectively a bunny girl outfit, sans the ears, including heels and a black cock guard. They have a cleft jaw, five o’clock shadow, an androgynous hairstyle, bright lipstick, and no eyes in a way that makes their face look almost like a mask. But that’s kind of how Shiki Takuto just draws male characters. So the heterosexual male readers don’t get curly boners.
This unnamed character is called transgender, a tranny, and a transvestite in various points throughout the story and afterword, and it’s not clear what precise type of person they are supposed to be. I thought they were merely a man who dressed in effeminate clothing to accentuate their masculinity, given that they are presenting themself as a man among men. An emcee who dominates over women and causes them “a pain.”
So it would be a perplexing message if they were themselves a trans woman, drag queen, or transvestite. People in those groups typically do work more to appear feminine— they don’t wear a black cock guard for one— and their relationship with women tends to be one of appreciation or admiration. Whereas this person… fucking hates women. Or at least loves watching them writhe in pain.
Instead, I view this character as being a misogynist man with either a skewed sexuality or intense kink who likes to torture women. …And I think they might be androsexual, as they go the entire debaucherous display without ever expressing desire toward the female-bodied main characters.
Anyway, the emcee boldly introduces himself to the men in the audience, those who have “lost their way because they cannot find a woman” and promises to fix their shitty night. By… straight up torturing the main four to a captivated audience. What follows is a lavish display of bondage, BDSM, and whatever deranged shit that the author could think of, all as these characters are being manhandled by men in teddy bear masks. They pull out spark plugs, clips, and electrodes to zap Mikio before taking electric rods and squeezing his clitoris. The emcee scars the asses of Yuuki and Saku until they are ‘as red as monkey butts’ all before making them squirt buckets before the audience. Tomoya gets hooked up to a fucking machine while weights are clenched to his nipples and body is bound in a pillory.
It is all so extreme that it really needs to be seen to understand the gravitas, the wildness, and the sheer theatrics of this display. The comics is done presenting things in fixed camera angles, and presents everything with harsh dynamic panels that sell the intensity and dehumanization of the protagonists. Left unable to speak, see, or even given the room to think. For they are not seen as humans by the crowd or stage men, they are reduced to mere props, to toys for a man’s pleasure.
This could be seen as just cruel, as it is female bodies being forced into sexual torture. However, it is important to recognize the context on display here, and how the characters got here. We saw what bullshit they got up to when they were free to fuck around in public, how they used their miraculously gotten good looks to achieve their own gains. And while they look to be tormented or in pain, they were into some wild shit before, and the absence of thought balloons adds a layer of ambiguity to their perspective. …Before affirming in the next scene that, yeah, they are sorta enjoying this. Or at least they still have their wits about them after something that would otherwise destroy people.
This is seen in the second part of the show, where the four are placed into a giant glass bowl at the front of the stage and doused in a waterfall of aphrodisiac lotion. Another display of excess, one that’s honestly just wasteful, but I suppose that is part of the point. To cast these four in a deluge of white sticky ooze that makes their bodies all shimmery, wet, and more receptive to erotic indulgences. Especially after the bear-mask men put funnels into their pussies to collect excess lotion.
Unlike chapter three, however, the ensuing sex scene is presented as far more pleasant. Interspersed with thumping music, bright lights, club wide shots, and the characters making mostly snide remarks. At worst, being annoyed by the situation, and at best… really getting into it. How much of that is genuine? Well, that is up in the air. These four are ravenous perverts who are into kinky stuff like this, and all the drugs in their system are doing god knows what. Ultimately, these good times come to an end when a barrage of… dozens of transformed partners of the main four come barging in on, led in by Dave.
They call the emcee a “tranny bastard” which is confusing for reasons I already went over, and they blame this transformation on the aphrodisiac lotion. The emcee, being a misogynist, does not pay these ‘women’ much mind and instead has the Teddies bind them and provide them out to the crowd. The crowd, naturally, loves this, and with a shortage of Teddies, the main four turn the tables on their partners, sexually dominating them and fucking them to the point of exhaustion.
Free and fixing for vengeance, Mikio, Tomoya, Yuuki, and Saku all turn to the emcee and proceed to punish him. Binding him to a wheel of pain and pleasure where an XXXL sized dick is repeatedly shoved in his ass as his mouth is gagged and eyes are masked. This is a form of rape as vengeance, but the emcee just lets it happen. He lets them tie him up with minimal resistance, gets a boner in anticipation, and adds a heart to his screams when the dildo goes up his ass. If anything, this seems kind of like his kink. Even professional doms like to be subs from time to time.
With their captor defeated, the quartet can do just about anything they so choose, but they just decide to roll with it and fuck everybody in the crowd. Because sex as a woman just feels that good! Hell, they even moralize their actions, saying that they’re turning disgusting men into women, calling it a form of “world peace.” Which… I can kind of see where that line is coming from.
Turning the types of men who would pay for something like this will inevitably change the perspectives of at least a few, maybe a majority. But some people are deeply stubborn. The prospects of becoming another sex would not necessarily change their perspective on things, or spark a realization. There are reasons why there are so many conservative businesswomen who want to turn women into their husbands’ and fathers’ property. Shitty reasons, but when have shitty reasons ever stopped dumbasses?
What follows is a cum fiesta of unrelenting excess as random dudes in the crowd strip down to nothing and just start fucking. The audaciousness and lavishness of the display cannot be understated, with the main four turning this into a damn game to see who can fuck the most dudes. What follows is a display of sexual power and domination, of being desired goddesses amongst scumbags who can only get off to depravity. …Unfortunately, it is intercut with less positive imagery.
Namely the Black characters being bound, gagged, chained to the floor and walls, giving them no autonomy or means of escape. In the creator’s defense, not all of the people in this situation are the three Black men who raped Mikio. You can tell based on the numbers, colors, and absence of tattoos. However, they are the focal figure when showing these scenes, and the reader never gets a glimpse into how they are reacting to all this. They just get the sight of lighter skinned men double teaming them or creampieing their pussy holes.
Aside from that though, I need to just highlight the sheer amount of work, effort, and attention to detail that went into this scene, and this chapter as a whole. A lot of comic creators take shortcuts when dealing with crowds and complicated poses, most commonly with close-ups and basic poses. It’s an economical decision, necessary when artists have deadlines and need to get paid. But despite this, Shiki Takuto goes all out with these scenes. They brilliantly capture the scale and energy of this event, while spending plenty of time on the nitty gritty— or slushy gushy— details, once again capturing sex as a spectacle.
However, like all parties, this one comes to a close, with a random party goer waking up to find a dance floor lined with groggy female bodies from all around. All looking half-dead from the booze, sex, and transformation. Rather than view this as a cause to call the authorities and explain the situation in hopes of getting aid, this former guy decides he needs to get outta here. Which, big surprise, is what Mikio, Tomoya, Yuuki, and Suka already did. They left the club, without a single care in the world, and recollect on how funny it was seeing over a hundred men transform at once. They don’t view this as their responsibility. They squarely operate under the philosophy of ‘whatever homie, you know bullshit happens.’ And the biggest thing on their minds is hitting up McDonalds for some breakfast.
This is a recipe for disaster. Previously, the spread of the TS virus was fairly contained to just four people and their sexual partners. Now, things have passed the three digit threshold and nobody has been notified about what happened. These people are not organizing, do not have plans to seek help from the authorities or medical establishment, and when that happens, you get an epidemic. If not a pandemic. And that is exactly what happens in part 5, the grand finale.
Chapter 5: Now That’s What I Call A Nyotaika Pandemic!
There has already been far too much ink spilled about the COVID-19 pandemic and how it negatively affected the world at large. Funneling people deeper into conspiracy-riddled online communities, forcing people into the isolation of their homes, stealing jobs and businesses away from people, and stuffing the pockets of the ultra-rich. However, it also represented a major shift in how many people engaged with the internet. Getting breaking news via social media timelines, pivoting to producing online video content, and trying to forge digital relationships with people. It has changed how many people engage with disasters, and due to the ever-shifting landscape of digital communication, and the echoes of this shift have been felt in every subsequent disaster.
I am bringing this up because rather than following the four horsemen like in the prior chapters, chapter 5 is an anthology chapter that jumps around as widely and rapidly as the TS Virus itself. Told via snippets, social media content, and glimpses into what is happening across the world. And to start with my conclusion… I think it is incredible.
Things, conveniently, start all the way back to where the TS Virus first spread, in a public men’s room where a salary man is having sex with a busty blonde who’s above his pay grade. Except, this time it’s different. These two unnamed characters are actually social media influencers under the alias of TS Creampie Angel, a pair of porn peddlers and rapists who make a living by filming and spreading around acts of sexual entrapment. And once their victims are lured in, they do the most fucked up stuff they can think of in order to rack up that engagement.
Such as filming this man’s ID and personal information. Sending an incriminating photo to the man’s finacé. Binding him up onto a pair of urinals, covering his body with advertisements for free sex, and calling in some homeless dudes to run a train on him. All before ditching them so that the next guy who walks in here to piss sees half a dozen naked, unconscious women.
We then see the Twitter account for them, showing that they do this constantly, and have absolutely no morals about this. Going so far as to rape children and film their bodies as their penises transform. Because that is the end goal of a low moderation platform!
Next, we see the same underaged victim, inviting his friends over to his house to show what happened to his body. And because they’re a bunch of teenage guys, probably middle schoolers, they just wind up raping him and calling in other dudes from their class. It’s an act of cruelty that seems like it should be impossible, but bear in mind that this virus is spreading at a rapid rate, and the more people this happens to, the more inevitable a reaction like this becomes.
TS Revolution has always preferred to show a darker side of humanity, and that’s absolutely what we see here. People choosing depravity over civility, violence over compromise, and indulging in their sexual urges. The popularity of which is demonstrated by another social media page, for #TS Channel. A channel with over half a billion views and showing people engaging in a “TS challenge” while making a T symbol with their hands to represent a movement of some kind.
The next scene follows one of the thumbnails seen in the prior page, featuring a class of 15 students, 14 of them being infected with the TS virus, and one remaining uninfected. With their cameras rolling and their school classrooms empty, they decide to force their shy classmate into the slippery and wet world of girlhood by throwing him through a fuckathon. Stripping him, giving everybody a chance to enjoy his dick, tying him down, and trying to make it sexy for their social media profiles.
Needless to say, the lasciviousness on display here is obscene, but this is meant to just be one noteworthy story going on in this world, and it’s one that has at least a certain logic to it. These are a bunch of guys, seemingly from an all boys school, who have all been infected and had their bodies transformed into what are meant to be hot girls. Despite how they look, they still act like a bunch of guys. And knowing that they are stuck like this, they adopt a vehement ‘fuck it’ attitude, deciding that if they don’t get a dick, nobody does. Especially not a dorky guy who didn’t get in on the fun until now. Really, what they’re doing isn’t too far off from some ‘frat boy shit’. Dudes are crazy, and so are children.
However… that might not be the most satisfying answer, and for better or for worse, this is something TS Revolution does not make explicit. The answer as to why those affected with the TS Virus are so eager to have sex with men? Wouldn’t most uphold their prior sexuality and want to instead have sex with people with female features? Why would they so eagerly go around raping people, putting them into compromising positions, and causing them harm? Well, there are many possible reasons.
One is that the virus is affecting people’s minds in addition to their bodies, making them seek out sex, seek out ways to spread this virus, above all else. Another is that the sudden bodily transformation and loss of a part of their identity just broke a non-significant amount of the population, radicalizing them into sexual terrorists. Similarly, there could simply be a group of people who feel deeply liberated by this transformation and want to spread it to ‘spread the love,’ regardless of if other people desire it.
It is also possible that those affected with the virus fear being treated unjustly and wish to make themselves into a controlling population by any means necessary. Maybe these acts are done as a means of defying government mandates, a way to punish a dysfunctional system. It’s stated that the economy of Japan is collapsing, and I’m sure a lot of people lost their jobs. And when this happens, when people lack something essential, they turn to crime. Crimes out of desperation, fear, and a lack of access to basic resources. Or maybe there are just some deeply selfish men out there who, after becoming women, have an insatiable craving for cock.
The real answer is probably some warped combination of these justifications and more. While simplistic narratives of a few bad apples or human nature are easy to swallow, they are rarely ever more than simplifications. And with an event as all-encompassing and transformative as this, there would be a wide variety of reactions and justifications even for identical actions. If there’s anything people should have learned from COVID-19, it’s that some uncaring dipshits are all it takes for hundreds of people to get infected with a potentially lethal virus. And that’s kind of what we see happening here. Crazy motherfuckers making problems exponentially worse.
Back to the story proper, things become extra consolidated. There are these dense pages of news feeds, porn sites, and a few snapshots of people as the virus spreads. A kohai from work having sex with his senpai after he got infected with TS Virus, only for his senpai’s wife to walk in on them fucking on the couch. A gay couple who became lesbians after getting infected and now fuck with strap-ons. Not sure how that works, but sure? A burning riot in the streets of a city where infected people are raping whatever men they can find, punning them down and turning them into women, forcing them to join the infestation.
The WHO declares a state of emergency as acts of terrorism spread. The president of Japan becomes infected. TS mothers start giving birth to healthy babies. The economy collapses. There are protests in the streets with people holding up signs reading ‘TS Lives Matter.’ The TS Virus spreads to the entire world. Airlines, so desperate to stay in business, start letting TS passengers fly so long as they promise not to fuck anybody onboard. And we get this gorgeous image of sights from around the world as it reacts to this global pandemic.
Men of all varieties being turned into women yet clinging onto their identity. Rampant sexual exploitation of people who were taken advantage of and placed in slavery. War rooms stocked entirely by ‘women.’ Some of the final unaffected men around being chased and treated as sexual objects. African tribes of shirtless women. TS only trains being adopted as the TS population grows beyond those unaffected. Riots, protests, stonk graphs going down, random animal memes, a map showing that most of the world has been infected. Hell, there’s even that famous photo of those IGN dudes freaking out after the Twilight Princess reveal.
This two-page spread is a downright fabulous display of creativity from its creator. Capturing so many ideas, putting so much time, all into what are ultimately background details. At this point, where can the story even go other than… finding a cure.
After what has to be over a year, a group of surprisingly male scientists are working away on the trials for a TS Virus vaccine. There are still side effects being worked out and issues to solve, but they have a working vaccine and have successfully returned four people to normal. Specifically, Mikio, Tomoya, Yuuki, and Saku.
Right as this revelation is made, the laboratory is raided by TSed people, who are all wearing a uniform of combat boots, and leather pants, with a hole cut out for quick and seamless raping. They attack and throw themselves on every uninfected man they can find, relishing in the experience of getting their hands on some fresh meat.
As this chaos happens, the four wake up, feeling groggy, and confused, surprised they are guys again, and a bit bummed about it, saying they liked being girls better and need to see their kids. They fumble their way into an elevator, and as they arrive into a lobby, they see dozens of TSed people rushing toward them. …And the main four all get boners! They might not know what the hell is going on, or what the state of the world is, but for these chara-o bros, all that matters is getting their dicks wet!
With that, the comic ends with a shot of the world, and we are left to imagine what happens from there. Are the chara-o bros the key to restoring order and balance in humanity? Is this chaotic and sexually liberated new TS era just humanity from now on? And are there even any men left in this world? That’s for you to determine. …Or you could read the Wikipedia page in the epilogue.
Yes, a feature of the tankobon release is that it has a three page write-up styled as a Wikipedia page, with an afterword for each chapter presented as references. This is a pretty dope way to present information outside of the main text without feeling too divorced from it. And rather than just recap these events, we get some clarification on what becomes of the world.
During the latter half of the 21st century, a mutated variant of the TS Virus appeared, infecting TS infected men and returning their bodies back to their original male form. However, the variant virus also has the ability to transform uninfected women into men, who also become carriers. I believe this is saying that people can randomly change sex by having intercourse with different people, and there are also vaccines and medicines that can be used to suppress or influence these changes. Thus turning the act of sex into something where someone may or may not transform, and they can just grab some over-the-counter pills at their local Matsumoto Kiyoshi and change back a while later.
If I am reading this properly… then Shiki Takuto created a TSF apocalypse story that eventually becomes a world where what was once a fantastical transformation of sex is as mundane as a morning after pill! Or an STI! And that’s one of the coolest TSF ideas I have ever seen! It takes something as fantastical as transsexual transformations, makes it into a worldwide crisis, one that tears down existing institutions and rules, before giving way to a new world. One where sex, gender, and the like all cease to carry the same meaning they have in times of antiquity. One where casual sex and ready access to bodily control leads to a more open and liberated society.
I never knew this section existed before re-reading this series for this showcase, and goldarn do I wish I came up with something like this first. Instead, the closest I got was TSF Series #006-3: OPPAI 3 – Let’s Go To Hell! Which was directly inspired by TS Revolution, despite being a very different story, complete with sex-powered elevators to Hell.
Stepping back though… I think chapter 5 of TS Revolution is wonderful. The situations are absolutely wild and give the story a wide scope. The short-form storytelling of headlines, one-page scenes, and fake web pages is incredibly effective, while also showing a great amount of effort from its creator. While the conclusion is a cocktail of emotions in a chaotic wrapper that induces both hope and despair.
It captures the sense of panic, dread, and rampant change that would come from a sexually transmitted transformation virus, drawing inspiration on contemporary events to create something with the aesthetic of a global crisis. And wraps up the story in what has to be the most lavish and excessive conclusion it possibly could. It’s an absolutely fantastic ending for the series.
And on that note, let’s wrap this sucker up!
Taking it all in, I just adore TS Revolution. For its boundless breadth of sexual scenarios and exponentially extreme escapades. For its incredible attention to detail, causing the art to pop and shine with a sense of purpose and vision. And for the insane escalation that happens throughout the story. Starting out as a fairly standard TSF narrative in chapter one, getting crazy as it goes into the middle, reaching an apex of deviancy with its fourth chapter, and becoming absolutely dazzling in its finale.
However, re-reading it, there were definitely some elements that stuck out to me as rather questionable. Namely its less than graceful portrayal of Black characters. The occasionally mean-spirited tone of certain sexual encounters. Some particularly callous debaucheries in its ending, particularly the school scene. The almost complete absence of women who are not just TS infected men. And a general lack of characterization for the main four, who are just selfish chara-o bros from start to finish.
Though, these are all minor quibbles when compared to the sheer spectacle of its storytelling and sexual encounters, and the places it goes as the story progresses. What TS Revolution does right, it does it so well that it pushes it over the edge for me, and cements it as one of my all-time favorite TSF comics.
…And now that I’ve taken care of this, I’m going on a break. I’ve spent way too much time these past few months gabbing off about great TSF comics and want to get back on my creative horse, writing my own TSF novels. And I have two novels’ worth of stuff planned for 2025!
After an 18 month run, TSF Showcase is being demoted to a monthly release, with new entries releasing on the last Tuesday of the month. Which means that I’ll be seeing you dastards on January 28, 2025, with a work I previously promised, but had to knock off due to scheduling conflicts.

reading this manga in it’s original form is a whole endurance test holy shit
It takes a good amount of endurance to get through, but I think its insane heights and decadence make it a remarkable work, and one that I personally love despite its flaws or questionable content. Though, I can also see how someone might not particularly enjoy it. Because it is a lot to go through.
