I wanted to talk about another Kouji comic… so I wound up talking about seven!

Kouji X Amulai Sweets Factory Hero Comics
Per my six month rule, now is a great time to dig into the back catalog of one of my favorite TSF comic creators out there, Kouji. …But which comic should I cover? The obvious answer is both the original and remake of the TSF masterwork that is Turned into a Breast Milk Fountain by a Beautiful Vampire. (No, I am not being sarcastic, it is wonderful.) But I briefly talked about that already in Natalie Rambles About TSF Comics, so instead I’m going to talk about another Kouji series… that also really isn’t a series, but I personally consider it to be one. The Kouji X Amulai Sweets Factory hero comics!
This is not a formal series, but rather an excuse for me to tackle multiple Kouji comics at once with a recurring theme. Japanese Tokusatsu heroes! Kouji has a long history of being invested in these, as seen with their Mahou Shoujo La Valliere series that ran from June 10, 2017 before entering a hiatus on April 14, 2020. It’s a comic that I would love to talk about, but it has only been translated up to chapter 7 of 12. So instead I’m going to talk about the hero comics he did with the folks at Amulai Sweets Factory. A collective who I’ve discussed and praised before as manufacturers of (generally) quality TSF comics.

Beast Ranger Tiger Red: The Downfall of Justice by Kouji & Konozama
Beast Ranger Tiger Red is a Super Sentai pastiche, featuring a rainbow coalition of transforming heroes, the Beast Rangers, fighting off against the evil forces of the Zodiac. A vaguely defined group led by Lord Alcor, who tasks one of his lieutenants, Shuva, to handle most of the busywork as he goes on weekly attempts to stop these pesky rangers.
Predictably, this latest encounter is about to end with Shuva and her mobs, or rather “mobz” getting beaten by the Beast Rangers, particularly their leader, Tiger Red. However, Shuva brings a secret weapon this time around to turn the tide of this war. A body swap gun! …Or at least that’s what it’s called. It looks more like a piece of construction equipment with a gear attached to it. Regardless, Shuva uses it on Tiger Red and then herself, initiating the body swap. The Mobz immediately restrain Red while he’s unconscious, while Shuva takes advantage of the confusion by beating up the other Beast Rangers.
It’s actually a really solid plan and it could have given Shuva the opportunity to kill the other Beast Rangers then and there. Instead, she just leaves them beaten and bruised and drags Red over to The Zodiac’s lair. Not so he can be tormented, but so he can be inducted into The Zodiac. And seeing as how this is a hentai comic, that means a combination of mind alteration and sexual torment. That might sound a bit blasé, but the execution is quite strong.
The mind control process is an agonizing one that sees Red panic and break his strong conviction, indicating its sheer power if it can shatter the will of such an archetypical hero. The narration captures his fear of identity death, as he feels the foundational elements of his identity alter against his will. And the transformation itself does not just change him into a mindless peon. Instead, it changes how he speaks, making his speech patterns more formal and feminine, leaving him unable to refer to himself as a boy or man.
The sexual indoctrination sees Shuva immediately push herself against Red, giving him zero chance to resist as she shoves her dick down his throat, quickly cumming, and shooting it down his throat. Red, aware of his physical weakness and under the effects of the mind control, cannot resist, and is promptly both chided for compliance with his body. He is then left to stew in an aroused state, left in a bedroom with little more than a bed and mirror. Isolation, and Shuva’s sexually trained body, lead Red to succumb to his desires. Afterwards, he is presented to Lord Alcor. He tries to resist, but a single kiss from Alcor is enough to defeat him. Red’s body develops a hymen tattoo to convey his loyalty, and he throws himself at the man who, just a day ago, he wanted to kill above all else.
At this point, justice has already experienced its downfall. Red is madly devoted to The Zodiac, and is determined to stay in a female body even if it means killing his old body. So Lord Alcor appeases his newest minion, promising to give Red a body more lovely than Shuva’s after they swap back. And during the short time Red spends back in their body, they are struck by how awful everything feels, bemoaning the lack of curves or vagina, and claim to care nothing for their former comrades in arms.
Lord Alcor then transforms Red’s body through… vaguely defined magic, and treats the reader to a detailed transformation sequence. Hands grow smaller, legs grow slimmer, penis shrinks into a vagina, chest goes boing, and Red is given a new skimpy villainess outfit. A vertical bikini top, thong, side abdomen covers, boots, arm covers, cat ears, a demon tail, and two giant claws that mirror her hand movements. It’s overtly sexual… but you can tell a lot of time and effort went into both designing and drawing this design, and I think it just looks cool as heck!
Red Tiger, now renamed Felis, then leaves with Shuva to enact their attack on the wounded Beast Rangers. With Shuva casually walking into the… restaurant they work in as civilians before Felis barges in and slaughters them with zero hesitation. Well, with the exception of the sole female member, Pink, who Felis merely incapacitates, taking her as a souvenir and gift to Lord Alcor. One who undergoes the same induction as Felis did. And as a reward for such a decisive victory, Alcor gives Felis and Shuva their greatest desire, a taste of his majestic cock.
That could be the end of the story, but there is a brief epilogue flash forward to a few months after the downfall of the Beast Rangers. The Zodiac has been able to seize control of territory, demolishing buildings, killing all who resist them, all thanks to the power of its lieutenants. Felis, Shuva, and… Rabbi. (Not a Jewish Rabbi, but the word rabbit without the T.) Yes, Pink has fallen just like Felis did, and is looking at Felis’s growing womb with envy. This is further followed by a final sex scene to celebrate their victory. One where Rabbi shoves carrot dildos into Felis and Shuva while she thinks about how much she wants to do this with Alcor. Which I think is meant to be read as Rabbi wanting to transform Alcor into a woman and taking control of The Zodiac.
What I love about Beast Ranger Tiger Red is how effective it is in bringing about its core idea. It takes just over 40 pages to go through everything, does not cut any corners, and has some real passion put into even the little details. The heroic stances and fight scenes at the beginning. The callous expressions of The Zodiac members. The brutal maimings caused by Felis. And the way that Red’s despair so gently gives way to Felis’s ravenous devotion.
I also want to praise the writing, but there’s a slight complication here. Just like Changed Into A High School Girl, Beast Ranger Tiger Red has both an official and unofficial translation. And while I think the official translation is fine, the unofficial one by Darknight is… just better. I’m assuming that the 2D Market one might be a more direct and literal translation, with a standard tiny font size. While Darknight adds more flourishes that really help sell the story and give it more character. They understand the genre more, emphasize the tropes and reactions better, and simply make this a more compelling TSF story. In fact, here’s a comparison of one page.
Still, always support the official release, even if the fans can do a better job in some respects. Also, localizations are better than translations. Japanese is a context-heavy language and should be modified when translated. And a good script that takes some liberties is better than a boring yet faithful one.

The Strongest Heroes Are the Weakest Villains Within the Mirror World [Saikyou no Seigi no Hero wa Kagami no Naka de wa Saijaku no Kaijin] by Kouji & Kikomuhito
With a title like The Strongest Heroes Are the Weakest Villains Within the Mirror World, I don’t really even need to give much of a premise synopsis. Triple Saga is a three-person band of heroes who have consistently defeated the forces of Enzo, much to the dismay of their commander, a scantily dressed horn girl named Yagile. Frustrated, she uses the monster of the week generator to create a new monster, and winds up with… Mirror Villain. Yes, really. A guy in a fairly basic costume who has the ability to access and trap people inside Mirror World. A world where everything is the opposite. Adults become children, men become women, the strong become weak, heroes become villains, personalities are inverted, etc.
Naturally, Mirror Villains dupes Triple Saga into entering the Mirror World, where they transform into their ‘opposites.’ The stoic leader Red becomes a selfish nerdy girl with braided pigtails. The smart and reserved Blue becomes a tall bimbo in gaudy clothing. While the… brave Yellow becomes a cowardly girl with huge boobs, implying he had a small dick. After transforming, the three find themselves trapped in this world, where they promptly encounter Yagile, snickering at them from a rooftop.
Yagile explains how Mirror World works, but Triple Saga are not afraid and prep their sequence… except it’s different this time. They get overwhelmed by black goop, or black energy, and become dressed in some… genuinely unappealing outfits. Black latex bodysuits that go up to the neck, covered in cloth frills that match their hair, with womb tattoos and patterns on their thighs. Clearly, a lot of work went into these designs, but in trying to make them look lewd and low-rank… they wound up looking grossly lame.
These lame-os then reveal themselves as Dark Cherry, Dark Marine, and Dark Lemon, the villain underling trio, Triple Rose, and are immediately disgusted with themselves. They try to get their fetish gear off, but cannot, and when trying to fight off Yagile despite this all, they get winded just running to her and are swiftly thrown aside with a wave of the hand. They are truly the weakest of the weak, and after making this clear… it’s rapin’ time!
The common grunts throw themselves on Dark Marine and Dark Lemon, groping and fucking them while they are unable to resist. Their minds have already changed too much for them to resist their new impulses. Dark Lemon is a cock-gobbling coward. Dark Marine is a vulgar girl who likes to demean herself by sucking grunt dick. And rather than help their friends, Dark Cherry runs away only to be stopped by Yagile, who whips out a penis, because futanari tag. They all mutter something to the effect of ‘I’m not supposed to act this way yet I cannot help it’ yet all succumb to their new urges after some not-so-gentile dicking. And after being left in the afterglow of cum, they have become fully inducted.
After adding that changes in the Mirror World are permanent— how convenient— the comic ends, showing how Triple Rose have fully accepted their new roles. Dark Cherry harasses children, Dark Marine kicks the weak, and Dark Lemon… throws grenades everywhere. All while Yagile looks on with satisfaction, knowing that her victory is assured.
Overall… I don’t really like this one all too much. I understand the goal and intent with this story, to see paragons call and become demeaned and pathetic women who serve their former enemy, but it just doesn’t work as well as it should. By focusing on the downfall of Red, Blue, and Yellow, none of the trio are established or developed. The physical transformation happens in an instant. The mental transformation happens basically automatically, with the protagonists being effectively mind controlled without any real chance or opportunity to resist. They lost the instant they stepped foot in Mirror World, so there is no real tension beyond them muttering words of resistance. And Mirror World… just raises so many questions.
One, why would the presumably 20-somethings who make up Triple Saga become teenage girls? If age is inverted along a general spectrum, then shouldn’t they become older, rather than younger? Was a trio of loser middle-aged women just not sexy enough? Two, if heroes become villains here, how are Yagile and her goons not affected by Mirror World? Shouldn’t these weak villains become strong heroes and then take advantage of the weak villains before them? I understand Mirror Villain not being affected, but what is the point of an inverted world… when you only affect three people? Three, why does Yagile just have a cock in Mirror World? Did Mirror Villain shield everything but her vagina? Because there ain’t no way she can tuck a schlong like that under a thong. Trust me,
I cannot really say how this comic could be improved considering the page count it is working under or dramatically changing the story. It’s not a bad premise, just not explored to its fullest extent and driven more by a desire to facilitate demeaning erotic situations than showing any sort of character growth, change, or steady loss or resolve. The sense of spectacle is also far less pronounced than the Beast Ranger Tiger Red, with so much of the story being devoted to erotic moments. The gimmick is not all there, characterization is absent, and rather than being a finely packed distillation of an idea, it’s both too grand and too brief. I would not say it is a bad work by any means, just one I probably would have skimmed past if it was by another artist.

Uchuu Keiji Jaydan Inkai no Chousen [Space Detective Jaydan] by Kouji & Amulai
Space Detective Jaydan follows the titular space hero— who is definitely not a detective— fighting an ongoing battle against the Lewd Curse Beasts. Following the defeat of the latest monster of the week, tensions are rising amongst the leaders of this group, including Demon Lord Sadolla, Archbishop Lady Jargon, and General Burst. Burst wants to take a more proactive approach to dealing with Jaydan, while Jargon claims to have a plan, and furthers it by summoning a monster before Burst. Burst kills it with a single strike, calls out for Jargon to be reprimanded, yet Sadolla does nothing.
Frustrated, Burst gets drunk in his room and notices that his chest is irritated and, as he fiddles with it, it swells, rapidly developing into a pair of breasts that release breast milk. Burt, out of… further frustration, then drinks the breast milk straight from his nipples, causing his transformation to accelerate into its next stage as his body becomes fully female. It’s a… strange sequence with basically no dialogue and it is only later explained that this was caused by Burst killing the monster summoned by Jargon. Meaning that this monster, while weak, spreads a virus or condition that causes their killers to transform and develop a brand above their hearts that makes them loyal to Jargon… because magic.
It’s not an unworkable idea, but the lack of any narration makes it hard to grasp what is going on during an initial reading and the mechanics of this creature… seem overpowered. I like it when villains are crafty, but there is no strategy here. This is just a villain using a win button to turn someone into a mind slave.
Over at Mothership Skyend, Jaydan is taking a shower and notices the same thing. His chest is sensitive, he fondles it, and gets consumed by lust as he grows a set of honkers. He is just about to shove them into his mouth when he is interrupted by Spacewoman Detective Ami. Ami has a history of being mind controlled— a lot— so she tries to get Jaydan to snap out of this. She succeeds, handcuffs Jaydan for his own protection, only to get sprayed in the face by Jaydan’s breast milk, turning her into the servant of Jargon. …Then Jargon also just appears here. No idea how she got into Jaydan’s ship like this. I guess Ami weakened the shields or something?
Jaydan tries to combat Jargon, but is unable to assume his usual sentai hero form and instead looks more like a scantily clad villainess. He still has powers though and fires an energy blast at Jargon… only for her to unleash an energy blast of her own, aimed at an unconscious Ami. Jaydan protects her, taking heavy damage in the process, and with him incapacitated and Ami still under mind control, Jaydan has no means of defending himself.
This leads to the main sex scene of this comic and it’s… strange. Jargon unleashes a pair of tentacles from her human physique, which sucks out Jaydan’s breast milk and pours it into his mouth. Ami briefly breaks free from her mind control, but she is promptly deflowered by another tentacle. And then it’s just a bunch of tentacle fucking. The tentacles burrow inside of Jaydan, with several shoving into his womb at once, and they eventually… cum inside him with a soccer-ball-sized wad of cum, or maybe milk?
I normally am okay with whatever bizarre sexual situations a creator wants to go with. But this one is neither deliberate nor weird enough for it to be a spectacle, and too gross and mean for me to grasp the allure. Unless unabashed suffering is the point and… I think it is. Because this scene ends with Jaydan being mind broken and baptized by Jargon, and Ami, as they piss on Jaydan’s sweaty, swollen, milky boobs.
This is followed by a two page epilogue, seeing Jaydan, Ami, and Jargon reporting to Demon Lord Sadolla, only to betray them. Sadolla calls for Burst, but they too have been mind controlled by Jargon. Sadolla then… explodes because Burst cut him with a sword, I guess, allowing Jargon to assume the throne with her three mind broken thralls at her feet. Das Ende.
…Yeah, this one is not very good either. You can tell it was designed around the erotic scenes above everything else. What story it has basically boils down to one barely detailed villainess corrupting three characters in a single blow. There is so little dialogue it’s hard to read much into any character, with Ami weirdly being the most fleshed out, with her character just boils down to being a pure yet vulnerable heroine. And the erotic scenes are just… busty boy breast milking and tentacle rape.
The art is still high quality, the expressions are wonderful, and you can still see Kouji’s love for the genre they are conveying. However, the writing is what really holds this story back, when it really shouldn’t. More could have been done, more should have been done, and a story like this could have worked given this page count. But Sweet Factory founder Amulai was in charge of the scenario and they just did not do a good job, plain and simple.

TS Omorashi Hero wa, Mama ni wa Katemasen! [TS Peeing Hero, I Can’t Beat Mama] by Kouji & Kikomuhito
Cripes, I should not be talking about this one.
The premise is that the hero trio, Tri-Saber, are fighting against The Secret Society of Evil, specifically the latest threat, The Maternal Monster, or Mama. She sends goons out to keep these three male fighters preoccupied and retreats into a building. As Tri-Squad chases after her, they undergo an instantaneous transformation as they enter Mama’s world. Except instead of becoming teenage girl minions, they become… three-year-old girls in cute little tutus and appropriately adorable visors covering their faces.
Naturally, Tri-Saber tries to fight against this indignity, but this is Mama’s world, and she holds all the power. She molded their bodies, can mold reality itself, and their minds are no exception. She cannot overtly control them… but she can influence their minds and does so by shooting out… eye lasers at the three and ordering them to… pee.
The rules of this world are that the more infantile one behaves, the smaller their minds become. Meaning if these “cool adult heroes” do something baby-like, such as peeing themselves, their minds will shrink, identities will be lost, and they will become innocent little infants. As the chanting continues, the three’s tiny bladders give and they pee all over the floor.
It’s a humiliating act for the three that weakens whatever resolve they had, and before they can recover, they are stripped of whatever power their baby hero uniforms offered. They find themselves in preschooler uniforms, and as they voice their frustrations, they are unable to speak properly. Their linguistic abilities degraded to that of a young child. It’s a massive blow to their egos, bad enough to break Yellow and turn him into a sobbing little girl, no longer able to remember who she once was.
With one out of three broken, Mama sings a lullaby to bring Red and Blue to sleep, with Blue being the first to wake up, where he begins a gradual loss of composure and self. He tries to resist all he can, but the imprinting Mama put into him is too strong, and his identity continues to falter. Sucking his thumb against his will, transforming back into his hero form, only to find himself adorned with a hero diaper, and being struck with another urge to pee. (I guess Mama force-fed them juice boxes or something?)
He desperately looks for a toilet— or rather ‘potty’— only to be lured away by a TV of a pre-K anime for little girls, instructing him to dance along. He tries to resist… but he cannot, and is forced to do as the characters on screen command. Dancing, jumping, and doing quick movements that send his loaded bladder gushing around until the pressure leads him to wet his diaper as the song ends. Blue’s identity then quietly shatters with a pained expression before he is left on the floor, sobbing like the child they appear to be.
Lastly, the leader of the bunch, Red, wakes up in front of Mama. He is able to fight through her reassuring head pats and transforms. He jumps to summoning his sword… only to summon a toy wand. And as he summons his giant robot to help him, he instead summons a… duck training potty. (It’s a Japanese icon of early childhood.) Mama just laughs at his display and begins accelerating the process, ordering Red to pee as he sits on this training toilet. He tries to resist, but his resolve falters as he sees Yellow and Blue appear, fully mind broken and joining Mama in her chant for Red to pee.
Red holds out for a brief while, but not long enough for him to take off his underwear, leading his bladder to falter and pee to flow into the toilet. Red cries out in frustration and fear, before whatever remains of the man he once was are shattered, leaving behind only a trio of little girls. Of Mama’s daughters. Who blissfully live out their days in the playroom, pretending to be magical girls.
…First off, I need to acknowledge the ‘what the fuck factor’ here, as… what the fuck, Kouji? Kikomuhito, what were you thinking? This story is just gross and uncomfortable on a fundamental level. Nothing explicitly sexual happens here— the fluids are coming out of the wrong hole for that— and little girls having pee-pee problems is as natural a fact of life as anything. However, the way it is being presented… is meant to be analogous to ejaculating. I’m sorry, but considering the background of the creators, considering the context it is released in, and comparing the framing and presentation… this is all implicitly sexual.
That being said, I also think this work is quite effective as a ‘TSF failure’ story. In many ways, this is a re-exploration of Strongest Heroes Are the Weakest Villains. The villain lures the heroes into an alternate world, their loss of identity, and losing access to the strength they became so accustomed to as they fight a powerful woman to no avail. Except here… it actually works.
Mama’s World is one where she has power over the heroes and being here does not inherently change them. They are depowered, yes, but they still retain control of themselves as they are in here and are not brainwashed by Mama. Instead, their loss of self comes from their actions, or inability to prevent them. From an insufficient resolve and inability to succeed in a futile, nearly impossible, situation. Despite this, they do fight and resist, trying to escape, trying to channel their power, and feeling genuine dread as they lose their ability to speak articulately and overall identity. All of which is all paired with imagery so juvenile and cutesy makes for a compelling contrast. Beast Ranger Tiger Red had a mind wiping helmet. This one has anime girls dancing to make someone pee their diaper and become a baby in body and mind.
Also… I just think this is kinda funny in a sick, twisted sort of way. ‘Identity death via pissing oneself’ is such an absurd concept that I cannot help but love it. I admire the sheer gall and tenacity of creators to even do something like this without succumbing to using a pseudonym. And while I am hentai-brained enough to see the similarities… it is factually correct to claim this is non-hentai. It’s just not okay in a completely different way!
I would never recommend this work, as… the WTF factor is still at 8.5/10. But I cannot help but have a soft spot for this story. Its downfall is effectively conveyed and its absurdity does a lot to mask the fact that it all smells like a ripe diaper filled with pee-pee and caca.

Kousei Soukou Akira [Heaven Armor Akira] by Kouji & Konozama
Going back to something semi-normal, Kousei Soukou Akira follows the titular solo hero fighting off against the forces of Utopos and their leader, Succunari, who captured his mother. He ventures forth to save her, transforming to defeat the mobs, and rescues his eyes-permanently-closed, extra curvy, ara-ara type mother. In the process, he winds up absorbing some unknown gas that transforms his body, turning him into a woman. Akira’s mother, who is also his confidant and the inventor of his technology, cannot turn him back to normal without the original gas, so she crafts him a new outfit so he can continue fighting crime in style. Meaning his same old uniform, but with some frills attached to show that he’s a girl now.
Akira beats up some goons, saves the day twice from the look of things, and the people take note of how their Akira is different, while choosing not to acknowledge that the male hero is now female. This new attention makes Akira uncomfortable, and they quickly scurry away into a public restroom to pee as a girl for… the first time, I think. Like many weaker protagonists before him, Akira winds up masturbating in the public toilet. Right as he finishes, he gets a call from his mother, asking why he hasn’t returned home. Akira promptly cleans up, but his mother has… somehow been able to get footage of him masturbating. I know it could not be his phone, as that was in his bag, so she must have tiny little bug-sized flying cameras following him around. Just like in Dragon Ball!
Things then cut to one week later when Akira wakes up to find that he is menstruating, a basic health fact that his mother apparently never taught him or explained to him in advance. Akira takes this news as further motivation to defeat Succunari, but as he digs into his red bean rice, he falls unconscious, his mother sinisterly looking over him.
Akira wakes up to the sight of Succunari— the futanari succubus— fucking his mother with her giant fist-wide double-footlong-long cock. As they have sex, they explain that Akira’s mother had been mind broken into Succunari’s servant ever since Akira came to rescue her, due to how time flows differently in Utopos’s realm. The mother is now an eager slave, unable to fend off the allure of Succunari’s “real dick,” which is contrasted against the “fake dick” that Akira had prior to his transformation.
Despite this, Akira is still gung-ho about beating up this cock demon, but rather than a bare knuckle brawl, she proposes something different. If Akira can withstand the power of Succunari’s penis without cumming, then Succunari will give up on world domination. Akira agrees and gets mouth-fucked by her. She busts inside his mouth, sending her demonic semen down to his stomach. While he avoids cumming— because who busts from a blowjob— the mind-altering effects of demon cum rapidly settle into Akira’s mind.
He looks over this monster schlong with heart-eyed lust, and just as Succunari pretends to give up, his mother tells him to not care about the world, to follow his heart’s desire. This is all Akira needs to give up on his just ways and start kneeling toward this demon, begging her to fill their pussy hole with her dank and viscous demon jizz.
Now this is where I need to pause on this synopsis and highlight how… this is pretty lame. Akira has shown interest in his female body with the initial masturbation scene, but so would any dude in his shoes. Yet he suddenly gives up on his everything, his entire personality, just after getting some mind-wiping semen inside him as he tries to fight for justice? No. There is no personal sense of decline, no weakness shown by Akira, and no natural acclimation to his form, or accepting his new form. This is just some big bad giving him a slut potion, just like she did with Akira’s mother. There needs to be tension and loss for an effective character downfall, for a fall to the dark side. But this is just a switch getting flicked, and the precise execution makes Akira seem like they just weren’t actually a selfless hero. I’m saying the semen has mind control powers, but the unofficial translation just implies it.
The remaining twenty pages of this comic are basically a victory lap for Succunari. She has sex with the mother and daughter duo. She sends them out to plant ‘grunt seeds’ in the bodies of unsuspecting salary men by posing as promiscuous gyarus. And she has a broadcast where she has sex with a pregnant Akira, dubbed Dark Akira, on national television. All while the grunt seeds activate, creating an army of thousands of grunts to abuse and assault the innocent people of Tokyo. Evil won. Das Ende.
Now, I don’t want to say that there is only one correct way to tell a story— I believe that a deft hand can make almost anything work well in the realm of fiction. Kousei Soukou Akira actually starts very strong. It presents a lot of ideas in a quick yet parsable succession and shows this hero dealing with the fact that their body is different and they are seen differently by the populace. Just like in Kouji’s Mahou Shoujo La Valliere, one of the best examples of this idea that I could point to. Except then, it falls down the cum hole.
The idea of Akira’s mother being a secret servant of Succunari works. It is a typical double-agent infiltrator story that is extra effective due to how close she is to Akira. But having her be this devoted cock slave… it has shock value, but not much else. This isn’t a story about the hero being broken by the loss of things he holds dear. This is… just a vessel for dirty gender-bent daughter and mother erotic scenes, isn’t it? The afterword indicates as much.
Afterwords like this make me wonder if I am looking too much into erotic comics for narrative depth. Except I know that there are creators who really care about telling good stories with this medium, and I have seen them pursue as much. However, sometimes creators just forget to carry the ones and cross their T’s, and wind up producing works that, while hot or appealing, don’t stand up to scrutiny. Well, except for the art. It’s Kouji, and Kouji always delivers on that front.

Male Hero to Female Hentai Zako Sentouin [Male Hero to Female Perverted Low-Rank Grunt] by Kouji & Kikomuhito
Okay, okay, let’s try the next one. A monster known as Irewakari is tormenting the city, swapping people’s minds, and two members of Saber Force, Red and Blue, go in to stop them. In trying to defend a child, Red gets struck by Irewakari, swapping him into the body of a low-rank female grunt with giant twintails. Grunts, despite being human, cannot speak in anything other than squeaks. This means he is unable to explain the situation to Blue and, desperate for some way to explain his situation, Red infiltrates the Saber Forces locker room. Because Blue will be sooo much more receptive to a girl who can only communicate in squeaks after catching them in a changing room.
As he enters the changing room though, Red becomes consumed by memories of the twintailed girl whose body he’s in, and how she was obsessed with Red. So much so that she joined the evil forces for the opportunity to be closer to him. …And for some reason, these memories fill Red with an uncontrollable lust, forcing him to bring his own boxers to his face while aggressively fingering himself.
Now, I’m going to need to pause and ask how the hell this makes any sense. I can buy the idea that inherited memories could cause someone to act like someone else. I can buy the idea that grunts may be subjected to some form of mind control, forcing them to act a certain way. But what Red is doing here is not being attracted to his former body or belongings. It is him becoming a monkey on a triple shot of aphrodisiacs, so deeply consumed by desire and lust that he cannot function or do anything. Being in this body reduces him to a sexual animal, literally unable to speak a human language, and I just have to ask… why?
Why abandon any semblance of subtlety or escalation and have the hero be consumed by an unbearable sense of lust from the get-go? Where is the tension, the drama, the sense of hope that is needed to enhance the flavor of despair? If the idea is to make a former hero become an obsessed super fan of themselves, there are way better ways of doing that. If the idea is to make a former hero become a low-level grunt who is sexually dominated by the grunt in their body, there are way better ways of doing that too. And why prohibit these characters from talking or communicating, when all it really does is make them seem more inhuman? If you want to make them monkeys with big tits, grow some gonads and get your bestiality on!
This is made even more confusing when considering that the twintailed grunt in Red’s body… is not obsessed with her new form. She is a composed, vindictive, and callous person who wants to see her hero, her idol, wiggle and squirm as they are forced to act as a pervert. But if this is a body swap… why is she not obsessed? Why does she treat her former body with such disdain? Was she mind controlled? Shouldn’t she want to see Red-sama carry her babies and force him to become her spouse? Maybe she should tell him they should have sex to swap back, when in actuality sex traps them in these bodies forever and causes their souls to meld with their existing forms? Thus making the twintailed girl more like Red and making Red more like the twintailed girl. …Okay, I’m just projecting what I like with that one.
After twintails finishes making Red cum so hard he pisses himself, it’s revealed that Blue was a victim of Irewakari as well, and was put in the body of a cubby high school girl with a rural accent. Blue barges in, demanding his body be returned, clearly frustrated by this situation and his inability to speak normally. But just as he reconnects with Red, twintails activate the two displaced sentai men, causing Blue to adopt a black spandex suit. And this is where it is revealed that the suit, somehow, turns them into sexual animals. Maybe it leaves them unable to resist the lustful urges harbored by their new bodies, rewires their brains, or some bullshit like that.
From here, the comic just devolves into Red and Blue masturbating and getting fucked for 15 pages as they are made prisoners and locked in a cell. They slobber over underwear, fist their pussies like they’re assholes, and mutter about how they cannot give up… right until they give up.
However, there is one glimmer of hope, one moment where I was immediately back on board with whatever the writer was cooking. That is when Red and Blue activate the back-up code on their real bodies’ morphers and become Saber Force rangers, ready to free themselves and take down the imposters. They speak for the first time in days, say that they cannot strip them of the power of justice, and rush to take their revenge and take their bodies back… only to fall onto the floor. The two spent too much time as these low-rank grunts and their sense of justice was stripped from them. Even without the influence of the black spandex of the evil forces, they are too aroused by the idea of wearing their idol’s suits to fight and gleefully accept the body thieves’ cocks. Then they spend the rest of their lives masturbating to their former bodies. Das Ende.
Yeah, this is a prime example of a story written by someone who was thinking with their ass-brain— their prostate— instead of their head-brain. Kouji did little wrong here, as the artwork is expressive, dynamic, and all that good jazz. But I’m baffled as to what Kikomuhito was going for here. This is not some rapidly written masturbatory erotica screed. This is something that took weeks, if not months, of work to write, storyboard, pencil, and ink. Yet I cannot see what the goal here was other than to… blankety satiate a fetish.
I was hoping that my memory was just going against me here, but… no, this story is just lame.
So far, this showcase has been one banger, one wacko yet good one, and four stories with big problems? Am I really going to end it on this note? …No. I cannot end the bi-annual Kouji showcase like this! It’s time to split from the sweets factory and get into something dirty and wild. It’s time for The Holy Band of Jewel Knights!
TSF Showcase 2024-36.7
The Holy Band of the Jewel Knights [Seikishidan Jewel Knights Yami ni Somaru Murasaki Suishou to Seigyoku] by Kouji & TSF no F
This one actually isn’t an Amulai Sweets Factory joint, I just found this when reviewing my records and… yes. Yes, to everything this comic does. But before I begin, I want to make a note regarding this comic’s distribution. The first of four chapters was released via Fakku. There are DLSite pages for chapters 1 and chapters 2, 3, and 4. The official English version was originally released via the defunct TSF no F Patreon. Then they switched operations to Pixiv Fanbox, where the pages can still be found. I would support them just to say I did, but their Fanbox has been inactive for a year and I bought the original Japanese version before I figured this out, so…
Different writer, same genre, so the gist is pretty straightforward at this point. The titular Jewel Knights are a group of high schoolers belonging to a movie-making club who wage battle against the forces of… Evil Professor Black. Last week, they lost, and the pink purple amethyst knight, Kana, was abducted. This has been hard on her boyfriend, Rinto, the sapphire knight, and when he finally hears from her, he rushes to meet her again. He arrives, only for Kana to reveal that she had joined the side of Black and became Dark Amethyst! Rinto tries to transform, but gets one-shotted, knocked out, and transported to Black’s lair.
Rather than use pesky words to explain what happened, Kana instead chooses to hook Rinto up to a headset that, somehow, recorded every sensation Kana experienced while under Black’s capture. And this… is where the comic gets absolutely insane. It’s clear from this point that Black did something to ‘sexually corrupt’ Kana, and the reader sees just that, her body hooked up to an electric titillation machine. This goes on for hours, then days, and eventually weeks. (Don’t ask how she ate, drank, or went to the toilet.) After two weeks, Kana’s resolve is still ironclad. She is still willing to fight the sexual temptations offered by Black. But then he reveals that… it has only been 20 minutes, and it only felt like two weeks because her body has been injected with nanomachines that accelerate her sense of time, turning days into years.
On one hand… that’s stupid as hell, makes miniscule sense, and spits in the face of science. On the other hand, that’s so absurd and so extra that I cannot help but love it! It’s basically magic via technology and while I might criticize the narrative application of stultifying magical demon semen, this I’m okay with. All it does is elongate time, allowing Kana to experience a decade of sexual indoctrination over 3 days. Now, I’m not sure how a decade of non-stop masturbation turns someone ‘evil.’ If anything, I think it would just turn them feral, illiterate, and unable to speak coherently. But if paired with propaganda rhetoric and other miscellaneous mind control… I can buy that.
After Rinto was also subjected to… a decade of experience in three days, he awakens to find his body transformed, reshaped by the nanomachines he was injected with, into a twin of Kana. The only exception… being his penis. Wanting to get rid of that nasty little thing, they send Rinto through another round of Kana’s experiences, this one being a mishmash of slime rape and getting dicked by Black while he begs for more. This is enough to transform Rinto physically, but not quite enough to break him. So Kana uses his pre-existing love for her, and the decade of inherited memories, to lure him into a proposition. If he gives in, accepts this life, and becomes Kana’s sister— becomes Rina— then they will be together forever.
Rinto takes this offer, submitting to Kana, accepting themself as Rina, and presenting themself before Black in one final display of submission. She is eager to embrace her new self, eager to embrace the pleasures she experiences first-hand, and fully pledges herself to Black, becoming Dark Sapphire.
Chapter one is definitely busy, but it boils down to a twinning corruption story that uses a Super Sentai themed framing. However, what makes it remarkable is just how unabashed and absurd it is with its use of nanomachines that extend one’s sense of time a thousand-fold. Combined with doing everything else well, presenting a well-structured downfall with enough room and means for the protagonist to lose his resolve, it’s solid! …And it only gets better from here!
Chapter two focuses on the yellow ranger topaz knight, Mai. A sporty and spunky girl part of the moviemaking club who is also an unabashed lesbian, throwing herself at the club’s newest member, Rina. I have to pause and say that after going through so many archetypal heroes, seeing a more abrasive protagonist like this is a bag of fresh air. After establishing this relationship, Mai promptly gets invited to Kana and Rina’s home. She narrates about how glad she is that Rinto went missing, explaining that she never liked his personality and wanted to get Kana for herself. But now… she gets both Rina and Kana! A pair of perfect twins… who slip her a sleeping aid. When she regains her composure, she finds herself greeted by Kana and Rina, both in skimpy nighties, saying she can do whatever she wants with them.
Mai immediately pivots this into sex, fingering Rina, getting eaten out by Kana, and going about as far as they can without any toys. And in the afterglow, Kana abruptly asks if Mai ever wanted to have sex with a “real dick” and, after being told to imagine it… she grows one and fucks Rina silly with it. It’s such a jovial little sequence. The sheer shock Mai has upon seeing her penis, how she remarks how this must be a dream, how she eagerly topples Rina while having Kana shove a pink dildo up her butt, and how she has limitless sexual stamina. It all feels silly and playful, absent of tension or dread, as it is just three girls having fun on a bed.
In fact, Mai had such a great time that when Kana and Rina reveal their dark forms, Mai does not even hesitate and immediately joins them. Hell, the only reason she ever joined the club was to hang out with Kana! And when she learns that Rina used to be Rinto… she just fucks her harder! She accepts the indoctrination with joy, viewing it as an act of pleasure in and of itself, and proudly displays herself as Dark Topaz! …Also, her penis becomes retractable, because there’s no way she could fit it in with that new uniform.
Chapter three is ‘the crazy chapter’ that looks at the audiences and proudly tells them to go fuck themselves as it gets extra dark, weird, and wild! Mai is still the protagonist and, eager to get this ‘servants of Black’ thing going, she lures Kento, the emerald knight, out to “go to [her] room and fuck.” Like a dorky schlub, he agrees and accepts Mai’s actions, no matter how suspicious they seem. Because as a teenager, he’s willing to do whatever he can to get his V-card punched. Even if it means wearing an obviously suspicious collar and letting a girl inject him with dangerous pink energy. Or nanomachines. Same thing, really.
With the collar and nanomachines, Mai has unlimited power to reshape Kento into whatever she desires and she has rather… peculiar tastes. She shrinks him down to maybe four-feet-tall, changes his sex, and gives him bright green twintails. Then, just as he starts to look over himself and protest, she says that Kento is now her pet, and pets shouldn’t talk back to their owners. To make this super obvious… she turns Kento into an anthropomorphic dog girl, with big floppy ears, a tail, and pawed hands and feet.
Kento is horrified by this, but realizes that unless he complies, things will get worse. So he sucks it up as Mai assigns him the name Mint, and as she pulls her dick out, he looks on at it with… fascination. Kento is enticed by its smell, but as he tries to lick it, Mai says that his technique is “utter dogshit” and rams his head against her, yanking on his ears as she treats him like a fucktoy.
After busting in Kento’s mouth, Kento is surprised by how… good semen tastes, and is informed that his sense of taste and smell have been altered as well. Now the only things he can swallow will be water and cum. …Meaning he will probably die in a few days, as people only cum a teaspoon’s worth, maybe a calorie. While it does have some good minerals and nutrients, one would need to ingest approximately 1,400 ejaculates to get 1,200 calories, which might be enough for someone so little to live off of. Though, at that point, they’d probably start suffering from all the sodium and cholesterol in semen.
…Yes, I looked up the nutritional value of semen to make this comment. I’d say something, except that’s not even the weirdest thing I’ve looked up this past week.
Having lost the ability to eat, Kento is further demoralized, but takes solace in the fact that he is at least Mai’s lover. …But that’s not the angle Mai is going for— she wants him as a pet— and to make this abundantly clear, she needs to rid Kento of his humanity. …So she snaps her fingers and turns him into a dog! And not just in body, in mind too. Kento, or I guess Mint, still has the ability to speak, but her time as a dog has caused her to lose the ability to read or think complex thoughts. She is just clinging onto hope, onto some happiness in her tattered life, as being a dog is not the worst thing… right?
…Unfortunately for Mint, Mai is an ice cold diehard bitch who takes them out on a walk in their humanoid form, dragging them to the park where they used to play as children and then to her parent’s house. Mint begs Mai to just go home… but Mai wants to break her, so she pins Mint against the nearest tree, warning her that if she screams, her parents and sister will see what she has become. So, she bears it, not wanting to lose even more, before falling to the pavement. She has lost so much and despite whatever she desires, despite whatever she may hope… things will never get better for her. All she can do at this point is change herself, who she is, and accept whatever her master desires.
At the beginning of chapter 4, only Shouma, the ruby knight, remains. He is desperate to find what happened to Rinto and Kento, eager to take whatever lead he can get, and listens to his former teammates when they find a ‘lead’. They lure him to a factory, where Black guides him to his throne. To Shouma, this is the final confrontation, and he swiftly transforms, ready to leave the charge. Only for his allies to pause… and assume their dark forms. It is five against one, and Shouma immediately falls, finding himself captured and bound. He tries to talk tough to Black, voicing how his evil cannot possibly win. Black, in response, gives Shouma some artificial memories, forcing him to relive the events of chapters two and three, his mental projection of himself shifting from that of a muscular man to a shapely woman.
After awakening, Shouma’s body has shifted, yet his resolve remains strong, withstanding another decade of nanomachine powered mind breaking masturbation and still holding onto his ideals, refusing to heed Black’s demands. In response, Black takes a different approach. He explains that Shouma is not actually protecting the weak as he claims. That the monsters he fought were actually some of society’s weakest people given the power that they craved. The isolated, the overworked, the outcasts, those are the ones who Black serves and allies with, and those who the Jewel Rangers attacked and bullied.
Black was a revolutionary who wanted to reshape society to benefit those at the bottom, while all the Jewel Knights did was retain the existing order, the status quo, and prevent him from achieving his dreams. Shouma struggles to believe this, but after “10 years of stern lecture” he sees things differently. Shouma requests punishment for the evil they defended and propagated, and offers their body in service of Black, embracing his power and becoming… Dark Ruby!
With that, the Jewel Knights are no more, and the Dark Jewels are complete. They each have a role in Black’s master plan. Commanding his troops, planning strategies, slaying the military who refuse to see his grand vision, and spreading his message in whatever way possible. While they do not conquer the world before them, they are growing more powerful, and have no opposition to face them.
The final page then ends by asking if this world will have another warrior to put an end to Black’s injustices… And the answer is… NO! You dumbass narrator! Black already explained that he wanted to create a better world, and he’s doing that by killing the military and toppling the powerful. I might have objected to that when I was some kid fed platitudes… but now that’s all I bloody want!
Anime villains who want to blow shit up and remake the world to minimize suffering? That’s a good thing. Propagating the ‘existing peace’? Nah, that’s some liberal democracy propaganda implanted by the US government in the 1950s. The world’s falling apart, and swift decisive actions are what should be done, as bureaucracy is designed inefficiently to benefit the powerful and allow them to retain power by any means necessary!
Political rant aside, I think this is the best comic in the entire showcase. While it is extreme and absurd in many respects, it fully commits to the idea of an entire five-person team undergoing their own downfalls. It does not feel rushed despite being tucked into a tightly paced package. Every chapter is distinct with its own appeal and despair, covering a good range of transformations. And it subverts things at the very end by not having the antagonist be transparently evil. The full coloring does wonders to make the characters and actions pop in a way that a black and white work simply cannot achieve. And while this was fairly early in Kouji’s run as a comic creator, their aptitude for expressions and general detail still impresses me.
It does everything well, does it fast, and the only real criticism I have for it is the trite yet important age and child-like appearance criticism I need to trot out way, way too often.
Now, I could keep going with more Kouji comics and more Amulai Sweets Factory comics, because these are both treasure troves. However, I think this is enough for one week. In fact, this was so much that… I’m going to need to take a break next week. I’m sorry, but balancing Rundowns, my upcoming novel, and everything else in my life can leave me strapped for time. Especially when I’m covering multiple works or works or works that are several hundred pages long.
As an apology, TSF Showcase 2024-37 will cover a series that most TSF fans from the 2010s should immediately recognize. But I’m not going to talk about the anime, I’m going back to where it all began. The light novel manga!

I’m glad you covered all these, as having this entire “series” laid out at once has actually allowed me to tell them all apart for the first time ever. I’ve known about Kouji for a while now, and maybe this is getting too negative, but while I initially regarded them pretty highly as far as doujin artists go, my opinion soured over time as this line of comics seemed to cover the front pages of the gender swapping tag for *years* on all the usual sites. As someone who wasn’t actively researching them and has little interest in the whole sentai genre… these all felt *very* repetitive upon first-reads, and not in a good way… which made it quite validating to see your criticisms of those middle four. It’s a shame because it apparently caused me to overlook the ones you view more favorably, which makes me wonder about the potential business downsides of an artist collaborating with a single author, covering a single topic, for so long. Especially as someone who just so happens to *quite like* chubby girls and gyarus… I was left woefully dissatisfied by their showings here!
But then again, clearly everyone making it is having fun, and it must have a happy audience, so it probably just isn’t for me. As much as it’s its strength, and I *like* to think I have a wide palette, a fetish this big can be tough sometimes when so many people partake in it for such wildly varying reasons.
I consider most of the shortcomings with the middle works to be more writing-related, not really Kouji’s fault, as they were just drawing what they were told to draw. The works didn’t have conceptual problems, but they did have weird pacing and presentation choices. I didn’t really talk much about Kouji’s art in this showcase, as I’ve praised it plenty in the past and thing the quality speaks for itself, but good art does not make for a good comic. And when Kouji is working on their own, they do deliver quality stories. That could be seen in the last Kouji showcase, JK-ka Refle, or some of their more narratively ambitious works like Mahou Shoujo La Valliere or Turned into a Breast Milk Fountain by a Beautiful Vampire. Hell, after doing this, I think they might be a stronger writer than many of the other writers they partnered with.
I also got these works confused all the time, and wanted to do this solely to help me figure out which is which and which ones were good. Hell, these are so samey that I thought that an Amulai Sweets Factory comic drawn by Hiiragi Popura was actually drawn by Kouji, even though their art styles are quite different. (I’m referring to Hero’s Gender-Bending Rewrite of the Past ~You’ve Always Been a Low Rank Female Grunt, Don’t You Remember~, which is basically a refinement of various ideas seen in this showcase. I thought about including it, but decided to talk about Jewel Knights instead, as it’s better.)
