Okay, so, I am working full time this summer, for those who do not know, or just stumbled onto this post, and that means I cannot spend all day in E3 mode. It makes my nights very hectic, as I try to pick up the piece right after getting home, but I went through Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony’s press conferences, amounting to over five hours of footage, while writing up some quick thoughts on the opinions on the video games, as I have been doing since 2012. Let’s see… how can I alienate everybody before I get around to my stupid recounting of video game news… I think Final Fantasy XV would more more interesting if it, well, did a number of things, but just went out and said that the four main characters who are dressed like K-pop idols were all gay, and had sex with each other on the regular. And in order to make sure not skirts dare infest their manly game where you mash buttons to do a very nice buff supplying anal, make them the subset of gay men who think that women are only good for making more gay men and more women that can be made pregnant using their glorious manly cum. Before beginning this post, which I rewrote three times for, I wanted to talk about a rumor that arouse about Smash Brothers before E3 2013. The anonymous tipster mentioned certain currently confirmed characters along with Shulk, Chrom, and Chorus Men from Rhythm Heaven, which sounds radical if I do say so myself. But no, Steam had to pull my leg and offer a Summer Sale… and a pretty lame one at that. Yes, the last one was how I entered the world of PC gaming, and oh boy, did I make out like a bandit back then. But now? Now I’ve got another eight games to play, even if I already beat Ducktales, which I’m not going to review until next week because… backlogs. Right now I’m playing Skyrim again, and oh boy is that game evil, broken, and ugly as sin. I’ve spent hours trying to get mods to work, but I cannot see if most of them actually did anything.
It is three weeks before E3, I am starting a job with my mother where I need to get up at 6:30, and have several others I may pursue. I am playing a ton of P4G, current 75 hours in, and am still trying to get some content up regularly despite having nothing prepared or planned aside from a cynically written Castle Crashers review I do not want to finish, as it sucks. Life is pretty good for me as a whole and I am actually making progress in part two of my three part novel. Oh, and just as a note, do not expect an anime review this month, as P4G is enough anime for me… God, my review of that game will be four pages at this rate. Oh, and I had to film a bunch of children to get $60, so I am tired as I am posting this… thing. (more…)
