Trying to follow E3 news while working a very busy job where the only down time I have during lunch is not very fun, and as such I have spent nearly the entirety of my evening catching up to E3 and watching what I missed. I am currently working on my final papers, one of which I recycled and one of which I vomited out because I was guaranteed an A in the class, and one of which I am halfway done with, but am really bored by. I am writing a review of Arkham Asylum and playing Castle Crashers because my Vita memory card isn’t coming until tomorrow and I want it to come before I start Golden. I am revising my plans for Terra’s Tales of Tremendous Transcendance because copyright laws are dumb and you cannot sell something that contains the word Pokemon in it. And I am also probably going to get a job either where my mother works or with an accounting firm if their intern thing goes through. That’s my story and I’m going to hide in a box now, bye! …Or stay since I have a page of game stuff to speak about. (more…)
Being born in late 1994 and being initially intimidated by video games for reasons that would only be plausible to the mind of a timid little boy, I found myself not too enthralled by a large quantity of older titles. But if I were to make a top ten, or possibly even a top five list of my favorite games of all time, I would certainly place Symphony of the Night up there. With that in mind, asking why I would review a title such as this is a valid question, especially since I did back when I was figuring this reviewing doohickey out. Well, because I didn’t explain why I love it so much properly, which was also the reason for my second Saints Row 2 review. So let the praise flow super duper well without being unconditional!
