I think the only thing I have to add is the way Sylvia's transgender identity is handled, as it is weirdly… underexplored? Let me just take it from the top. Sylvia is a trans woman and she has some anxieties related to being trans (don't we all, sister). Rather than really explore or describe these though, the game instead has Sylvia acknowledge these anxieties only to quickly destroy them in MIND FIRE! This action does not really have any clear change to her character, as she does this right before introducing a new facet to her system. So, what did she destroy? I dunno! At first I thought it might be her anxiety of being a trans woman without genital dysphoria— it's why the floor tea didn't give her a vagina— but that's not the case. She sure didn't mind using her double snake schlongs in the alt ending. In fact, I don't think a mention of genital dysphoria is brought up at all. Margaret just sorta accepts that Sylvia, a passing trans woman from a rich family and zero aversion to surgery, is cool with keeping a penis. I feel like I am going insane even mentioning these things, as the folks behind this game are very queer, and quite trans, so they should be masters of this stuff. But even when searching through the story files with keywords, I didn't find anything. Meaning I'm not insane… but I kinda wish I was.
